Seat Counters - 2023/24

Exactly. The sales are too staggered for me at this stage of the process
Why can they never (ok rarely at least) get it right. Either a free for all with limited availability for a huge game (Madrid) or so many stages when tickets are plentiful…. Aaarrrggghhhhh

Morning all. Hope everyone's set for the fun and games at 11am ;) Here's the latest count to start your day:

Level 5 - 4686
Level 2 - 704
Level 1 - 392

Total - 5782
That feel like a definitive number of remaining tickets.

The fucking idiots haven't updated the ticketing screen so it says "One ticket available" to each member. Tht's going to put a lot of people off if they log on to look, especially as they aren't promoting the extra ticket availability.

I'm going to predict that these won't shift much. They've ballsed up this second set of sales criteria. They should have gone for 3 available to all members without those silly extra steps. Potentially great news for all teenage Liverpool "fans" throught Ghana.

I think it goes to 3 extra per member at 11am so there should be increased activity then, but if the club aren't communicating it properly to members then like you say it could put people off bothering to even check. We've even had posters on here - season ticket holders - who said they didn't even realise tickets were on sale as they'd not had an e-mail about it.

Can you see the same as me? On the ticketing screen it says "On sale to Season Ticket Members, and Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members who joined before 17th March. One ticket per person."? How many part-timers, tourist etc will that put off? You've got to actually buy the ticket before you realise you qualify! Absolute schoolboy error. I have been badly wrong before but I'm going to predict a bit of extra activity at 11am but not enough to shift these. I get the feeling that when it comes to buying extra tickets for friends/family/kids these people who only attend occasionally will have needed to plan in advance and get tickets together in many cases.

If they'd made these available to all on Tuesday they'd be gone by now.

I think with this latest development the ticket counters should have some form of contact with the ticket office, today is going to be epic, or is it?

They would be sensible to consult some members of this thead in advance instead of going off doing daft stuff like they keep doing. It was obvious that these tickets needed to get on sale quickly. I even started a thread about it.

Yeah, I've got the same message. However, if you click on More Info and scroll down to the selling criteria it comes up with this below. The trouble is, it should really be saying that on the ticketing screen as it's doubtful that everyone would click on More Info:

All current Cityzens Matchday and Cityzens Junior Members (as of 17th March) can purchase an additional 3 tickets (4 in total)Friday 5th April11am

I'd say that the people who haven't been to any FA Cup games but are Cityzens members - casual fans and tourists if we are honest - in the majority of cases woudln't even be clued up enough to do that. They'd take the main screen at face value.

I'm going to predict that we are still at 5000+ tickets by the end of today.

Updated count ahead of the expected 11am rush:

Level 5 - 4858
Level 2 - 665
Level 1 - 677

Total - 6200

Surprise, surprise - City have found several hundred more tickets in a drawer somewhere!

I'll be gobsmacked if this sells out in view of the poor messaging. A few days ago I predicted a following similar to the semi-final twelve months ago; my gut feeling hasn't yet changed.

Still, as the excitement builds, how are the nerves? :)
