Seat Counters - 2024/25

After going on Sale to Matchday Members who've attended 3 UCL games, Madrid has:

L1: 472
L2: 1,878
L3: 6,151
Total Left: 8,501

Madrid have returned the top tier of the away end (Block 313/314) so an extra 1,500 seats or so have been added to L3.
Jesus that's embarassing for a club their size, should do wonders for the atmosphere having all of ss3

The problem is that their UK based fans will be in the home sections.
I had a look online and I belive for Madrid, only ST holders can purchase away tickets regardless of whether they sell out or not. Compare that with us, where it'd go on sale to matchday members if it didn't sell out to ST holders.

So even if the glory hunters wanted to be in the away end, they'd have no way of getting tickets there.

What the hell are we doing selling to so-called fans with just 1 CL ticket in 2 seasons? There must be hundreds of City fans who have seen loads of home games who would like a ticket. Loyalty should be based on games attended not on the competition.
Yep. My daughter and me have been to all home games in the premier league this season, but only one champions league game,so will have to see if there is anything left at 3pm tomorrow

I think we know what they’re doing, trying to bump up the popularity of the group games in future (if we qualify!!) give the presumably low uptake for the UCL cup scheme.

Thank you. :-)

I honestly don’t mind valid criticism.

But sometimes when I post on this particular thread, it seems like there is a pile on by certain forum members for no reason whatsoever. :-/

And to think, this thread started off pretty much as laugh and nothing else.
How dare you
This threads is not a laugh
It's very serious seat counting
And your input is appreciated.

Fucking hell, I make a valid point, and somebody else has a go at me on the ticket thread?

Seriously what is it with the this thread?

Every time 1 post on this thread or do a count in good faith, somebody has a pop.

As for you, you can fuck right off.

I feel better now. :-)
Toughen up you sensitive soul, do you want a cuddle? My point was we are up in arms when others have a go at our attenedance. Glad you feel better.

For a good while now, they’ve made all ticket criteria competition specific.

There’s merits for and against that policy. But they have been consistent with it at least.

For Madrid, anybody who’s been to just 3 out of the previous 9 home games has easily qualified. And in only 1 of those 9 games tickets weren’t very easy to pick up. There’s also going to be thousands still left at 3 pm for people who’ve only been to one game.

I personally don’t think anybody who misses out on Madrid can have too many complaints.

I don’t particularly disagree with you, was just replying to the question “why are they doing this?”

Also can anyone explain how I’d get spurs away tickets. I know at my club forest, you need an away membership. As I always say on here ,it’s my daughter that’s the city fan

It's a tricky one to get right. It probably should be done across all competitions rather than isolated to the CL, but having said that, a lot of people who decide they can't make a Tuesday/Wednesday night for CL group/league phase games all of a sudden can make it for a knockout against Real Madrid. But if those fans have been to a certain number of other games over the past couple of seasons they should qualify.
