Seat Counters - 2024/25

It's a guaranteed refund game though right? So let's say they fail to shift the 500 seats currently on the planner, they won't be making a penny off those seats, so the Seat can't be considered "sold".

Doesn't matter whether it was sold out weeks ago, the fact of the matter is there's 500 tickets up there and the ST holders have been refunded, so these seats are currently unsold, just like any other Seat. The fact that they're Seat exchange is irrelevant.

I agree with you for games where there's no guaranteed refund however.
it’s a guaranteed refund game because the club know they will be sold. So the game sold out once and the tickets will sell again at an increased price. Everyone’s a winner.

Seat exchange tickets. These are season ticket holders who can’t attend. Doing my head in we have to go through this every game.
Yes but will you finally recognise that these are empty seats if not sold by the club?

These seats have been returned by season ticket holders. They are empty if not sold. I have seen it with my own eyes. Boxing Day was shocking.

Stop following the club propaganda and get behind supporting affordable tickets for local fans.

No idea why you are turning this into some sort of beef.

Yes, but there are more and more being listed and left unsold; last season, seat exchange tickets were snapped up; now, we're getting hundreds left on the exchange. Next season, especially when the new stand opens, we'll be left with shitloads unsold from the initial release, never mind seat exchange. People are legitimately concerned about the direction the club is taking off the pitch. The signals aren't good.

I’m not disputing that tickets are too expensive. I’m disputing the claims that we aren’t selling out the stadium. We already have done once for this game and we will sell all these exchange tickets too.

It actually saddens me in an era where most armchair football following morons think we don’t sell out our stadium when our own fans believe the same.

The stadium will be full on Saturday but the seats are too expensive. These aren’t mutually exclusive any more, sadly.

Well we didn't on Boxing Day, Forest midweek and I'm certain if you check the planner on Saturday before they shut up shop it won't be sold out. I couldn't care less about what other fans think. All I want is some local fans to take up those seats.

Wonder if we’ll ever get back to the days of guessing what the crowd is gonna be ? With the reduction in numbers of season tickets & increased capacity, tail off in results, and Pep eventually leaving, it might actually become a thing again
Would actually be quite nice to go back to having the club phone you on a Friday, offering you heavily discounted corporate tickets for the next day. Instead of them knowing that if you don't buy them, someone else will buy them for 5 times as much and spend a fortune in the club shop.

At short notice I couldn't make the Chelsea game. It's a really good seat in 104
I.put my ticket on here for sale for a day and had no takers, so I put it on the club exchange and it went within half an hour
At half time of the game, I messaged the lad I sit next to and asked what the person was like who bought my ticket
He replied that no one was sitting there

We will not; we have not been shifting tickets on the exchange on a regular basis for several months, so there will be empty seats dotted about all over the place. There has undoubtedly been a downturn this season. The club thought they would ride the crest of a wave forever, and they have not.

I don't give a shit what the “armchair morons” think; I care about what I and my fellow match-going blues think; in my opinion, and the opinion of many others, the current trend is depressing and worrying.

I sometime buy a seat anywhere on the bottom tier if I’ve got someone coming along without a ticket. And then they come and sit near me.

And if you try to buy a ticket now for Leicester at home, midweek 2nd of April, it's apparently sold out, all you can get is hospitality or agency tickets for £90 minimum. They have thousands available, as do the package tour operators.
They won't sell, thousands will be returned, along with season ticket exchange holders. I as a member can't buy a few seats together for a midweek game, and make plans, until that flood of seats comes on the market.
The game will have loads of empty seats.
The club policy is to create an artificial sell-out, make it look like a high demand event, try to shift hospitality and inflated agency seats on that basis.
So many fans are blind to what's happening, and buying the propaganda about all seats being sold out, especially for the lower level games.
Put all the seats on sale, to fans, at reasonable prices, and let us buy seats together week before the game. That's not the sales model.

The person was probably cheap corporate and stayed eating & drinking all match. Not interested in watching a City match.

My guess is, that club have auto buy backs on big games in the hope they can sell it on for a massive profit. Perhaps they weren't able to shift it.

I sold one on the exchange and the lad next to me told me at the following game that lad who bought my seat said he got it off live football tickets.......make of that what you will
