Seat Counters - 2024/25

Lowest in top flight football ?

Is that from from diligent Scientific research or a gut feeling.

I go to home and away matches and I am amazed at the number of kids at City home matches.

But I will defer to your research.
At last somebody with a bit of common sense and who is prepared to give a more realistic view to some of the nonesense I’ve been reading on here !

I too am a match day fan who still goes probably far too many games than is healthy for somebody of my age and has done for nearly 5 decades .

I see no difference in the make up of our support to when I went to my first match in 1976 !

Ps

To all those nay sayers with regards to potential‘empty seats ‘ at yesterdays game ? It was a fantastic turn out ?
Just look at the match highlights reel ? It was packed .

However I do agree the match day walk up prices are too high , but these are just the last few or season ticket returns mainly which the club have already been paid for ?

Get behind the team

We are truly blessed

it looks like with supporter club allocations, season ticket holders have sold about 6000 tickets for wembley, surely more than 1 in 6 is interested, i guess it's better than the 3000 sold for the community shield v Arsenal.
There will many thousands more Supporters Club members going to the semi final but most will sort their own seats, as we got lumbered with very expensive tickets last season .

The final day of hot and sunny weather helped.

If the weather would have been cold and wet, the Etihad wouldn't have been as full.

Imagine how many tickets City would sell if the stadium was bigger than 62,000 after the expansion, with better priced tickets.

'Match day walk up prices' are the same price they charge all season. They don't increase the price in the few days before the game?

Maybe only a maximum of 8 mote games to see KDB in the sky blue shirt.

And maybe only one more at Wembley.

Raid the piggy bank, stop smoking for a couple of days. Sell the China on e Bay, Get a new Credit Card, Hitchhike
down the M1,

" I don't care care how you get there, just get there if you can "

Match day fans too and were there yesterday and my son and me still enjoy games as much as we ever did.
A hell of a lot more than some of the old whining miserable SC holders we often sit near. Maybe thats the answer more match day fans that actually enjoy being there;)

Probably quite a lot of ST holders holding off until they can buy together with non ST holders next week.

Exactly what I’m doing! I could have got 1 Friday but waiting until Monday at 10am so I can take my son (cityzen member) with me.
This will definitely open up to 4 tickets per SC/member!

It'll be interesting to see what the queues are like for each of the sales windows today. On the face of it, today's criteria seems to be convoluted with it being members who have been to 4,3, and 2 FA Cup games since 2022/23 but you have to think that the club have analysed the data with regards to numbers who fall into each category. I still think a lot will be hanging on for when it opens up further though because how many families of 4, for example, who have been to some of the FA Cup games all have memberships? There might just be 1 adult in some families who has a membership

As someone who qualified for this window I'm happy that it meant I didn't have to wait hours to buy tickets. 3 tickets purchased. Hopefully sat with other supporters who've been to more than one game previously. Looking forward to the trip with the kids.
