Seat Counters - 2024/25

No. The PL rules specify tickets "distributed", which includes complimentary tickets. That's the figure that gets published but I believe they also have to report actual attendance. We were given the real figures at City Matters and there could be a difference of 7000+.;
I understand that there can be huge differences between published and real attendances. We've known that for years.
I don't believe that tickets distributed to a ticket reseller and then returned are included in the official attendance. From the perspective of the man on the street, I would regard that as a fraudulent claim.

Whether you believe it or not, those tickets are counted as part of the official attendance. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's fraudulent, as those are the rules, but I'd definitely agree that it's grossly misleading.

I'd also say that it encourages clubs to find any way of bunging tickets out the door if sales are slow. Give 500 tickets each to Manchester Uni, MMU and Salford Uni and that's another 1,500 on the gate even if no one turns up using one of those 1,500.

Agbonlahor has just taken a dig about Wembley tickets being unsold for us, right after scoffing at the attendance on Tuesday.

Of course there was no context.

Not really looked but I'm assuming the Villa game was Category A, hence the high prices!
That's what it looks like but that would have been set before the season started. Villa could have been mid-table by now so there's no way they knew Tuesday night's game was going to be so crucial.

I'm not a fan of pricing categories but with the greatest respect to Villa, they're not a Category A opponent anywhere else. Arsenal have them as Category B and I think Chelsea & Spurs also do.

Our Cat A games should be United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and probably Spurs. Cat C should be the promoted teams plus any non-Category A games that are scheduled for midweek when the fixtures are announced.

I’ll only worry when they stop talking about us.

They don’t understand. They’ll never understand.
City's support is still there for the moment. The seasoncard holders are still there. I don't see it as weakness when seasoncard holders do not show after the 28th call.

The empty seats on Sunday will yet again have us laughed at by the rest of football, giving the Talkscript scriptwriters days of content to write the snide lines for brainless morons like Agbonlohor to read off an autocue.

But shame on those running City that have managed to completely fuck up our support.

There shouldn’t be an empty seat for any home PL games or semi finals - but the clowns making pricing decisions have somehow managed it !!

Sunday is what happens when you alienate and dis-engage our support. Our board lost the plot the minute tourists filled Wembley for the charity shield when legacy blues boycotted it and thought they had cracked it.

I’m not sure how it is these days, but I know for a fact in the early days of Mansour ownership that those in charge of pricing at City were terrified when attendances were poor for certain fixtures - and the nervousness of explaining why they had fucked it.

Hopefully it’s still the same, and the current situation will see some strung up by their testicles when having to explain to Abu Dhabi why we are laughing stock and being portrayed as plastic supporters by the UK media.

These pundits who have all their travel sorted for them and don’t have to worry about work arrangements or cost, eh?

We’ve been saying for decades that semis shouldn’t be at Wembley. It’s also one reason I don’t care about the national team, most other big European nations play their games around their countries to be more representative to their regions, but we get a big V sign from our national FA.

Later trains from Birmingham northwards would at least help but they haven’t got a clue.

Well lets take the biggest army we can down to London and come back with a place in the final.

Personally I’m not bothered about any criticism. Just explaining the reasons.

Play this in the midlands? We sell out.
Play this on Saturday? We sell out.
Play this earlier on Sunday, 3pm? We sell out, probably.

It’s not rocket science.
