His name was David Lynch and he wrote for the MEN many times afterwards. It was the young Manchester Evening NEws online guy who did that - against Chelsea. He never wrote for them again I don't think.
It would be useful for those on the cup scheme surely.I thinbk you can transfer but I;m talking about Seat Exchange where you sell your season ticket on. There are no season tickets for cup games so they don't do it. I don't think, anyway.
Yep only single seats remain now.For Salford:
L1: 39
L2: 80
L3 : 262
Total Left: 381
Still shifting, but the last few hundred are being stubborn, probably due to them being pretty much all singles. This will sell out Friday Evening/Saturday Morning
That might be the football teams that my mates taking. He said mostly rags, a few dippers and a west brom fan in the ranks. 35 of em in total.76 east level 3
80 Colin Bell level 3
60 NS level 2
12 NS level 1
228 in total
Spoke to a mate of mine yesterday - a newcastle fan who's taking his newcastle supporting son to the game because he plays in the salford amateur kids team and they've been given tickets in the salford end. Think the whole team is going, and suspect other age groups will be too
Probably worth bearing in mind that this might be more of a family atmosphere for this one?
Yeah. I got my 3 no probs :-)Any update on Arsenal?
With that in mind, your going to have about 3,000 “Salford” fans that don’t know any songs so it will go either two of ways…76 east level 3

I think there will be plenty of football in a library, wwywyws, shit ground no atmosphere type chantsWith that in mind, your going to have about 3,000 “Salford” fans that don’t know any songs so it will go either two of ways…
1) 50% of the visiting support will be silent so they won’t be that loud
2) They will be singing Rag songs all evening (Build a bonfire, 20,000 empty seats etc….)
I would hazard a guess it’s going to be 2

Still a hundred or so on the planner, it doesn't say sold out for me?With our opponents, the kick-off time and it being live on BBC 1, I had my doubts about us getting anywhere near a sell out.
Website now saying Sold out.
Ticket prices have obviously helped but still a great effort from everyone.
One of the routes to tickets does say sold out but you are right there is approx 100 leftStill a hundred or so on the planner, it doesn't say sold out for me?
Either way it's a fantastic effort.
A few weeks ago when this didn't look like selling out, many people came on here claiming that this proves ticket prices doesn't impact attendance. It should be clear to them now that ticket prices do massively impact attendance.
I make it 99 left .One of the routes to tickets does say sold out but you are right there is approx 100 left
If anyone needs to buy but getting the sold out message the below link should let you buy.
