Seat Counters - 2024/25

What’s your thinking behind why then mate
What’s the shocking part of it
What In particular is shocking that I’m not going today?
As I have said many times we have 37k season ticket holders and a preported membership of over 144k...and the apathy that is been displayed by many is unacceptable..I have followed City since 1975,so the days when we won next to nothing are still fresh, and if you had said to me 15 years ago how successful we would become,I think I would ask you to seek medical help..lol...I just find it disappointing that we have become a club who has embraced the status of sucess, however now don't value it..of course I get there are those who can't afford it,or are put of by time if fame etc..but really we should still be going down in larger numbers to SUPPORT the boys..

Currently on the rattler heading through Nottinghamshire. Probably about 50/50 Blues and Forest. Not many empty seats. C'mon City
On later than planned HS1 up from Folkestone having overslept after a night shift but for train seat counters the update is it's 50/50 2 Blues & 2 forest.
The ealier missed train would have had the most of the east Kent contingent, my fault for not leaving early....

I know that's sarcasm but...
Wembley last year.
My mate had to pick his son up from Bolton because his train to Manchester was cancelled.
4 of us then went to Mcr to get the train to Sheffield. On the train they made an announcement, instead of going onto it's destination, Norwich, it would terminate at Sheffield.
Ok that bit didn't bother us but what about the poor saps going further.
We then got the train to London and were lucky to get our reserved seats as they'd removed 2 carriages so loads had to stand as they had no seats.
If you have to stand for 2-3 hours it isn't the end of the world, but when you've booked seats !
So who would trust our train service to get you to London on a Sunday ?

But still Blues moan about other Blues not going.
It’s a pity there’s no direct service into Marylebone from Piccadilly going past Wembley. The service from Manchester to Southampton uses the Chiltern Line from Leamington Spa to Banbury so it’s possible. It would solve a lot of problems. You’d think a Manchester to London train would be more popular than a Manchester to Southampton one.

After reading all the nonsense you've been spouting, I'd love to log in to BM later and read that you left your ticket back in Southport, or that you'd been flogged a ticket in the Forest end.

I'll look out for you on the telly... I presume you'll be the one in a clown suit.

What a bell end you are

I actually think we have sold almost 32,000 tickets not 27,000 as some are saying but whatever it's still a great effort. That should have been Peps answer when asked the question by the shit stirring anti City journalists.
"Wow....so you're telling me we've sold 32,000 tickets for a game our fans have to travel 200 miles to get to, on a Sunday and when everybody is struggling financially?? Really? That's magnificent!"

Agreed but with our sales we will probaly only see 65k there today..thats pretty poor ..mitigating circumstances and all that but still poor.. kick off times a killer but in all honesty if we had the Saturday game maybe 29.5k sold..a good 5k less then Forest ..today we will be 8k less then
..wait for it...Forest....the "meeeja" have won in all honesty...I live in London now and the bile I get at 5 a side is worse than anything I hear in North West...lets face it we aint gonna have a fan base from a wide geographical area...Arsenal for eg, have coach loads going from Brighton...Plymouth ...you name it..us..middleton...and Stockport of course....I'm cynical but these constant slurs were designed for this sort of day..."meeja" blackout.....unless we win the MOTD with sound off when U get back from rhe match

The directors could have built on our local support and grown the match day going local support. Instead the directors no only ignored our local support in favour of football tourists and their money, the directors have on purpose and actively eroded and priced out our local support. What they have done over the last few seasons, including this season, is now coming back to haunt them, for want of a better word.

But nothing, not even empty seats and the Etihad and Wembley will deter them. The directors will carry on until they have accomplished their goals, which only they know what they are.

Probably a better turn out than either Sheff or Brighton too.
I absolutely appreciate the reasons why some are opting out of this one, another valid factor to yours above is it's a school/work night which wouldn't have been an issue on the Saturday, other issues notwithstanding.
With all that take into account it's an impressive turnout anyway. Hope it boils the piss of all the snivelling cretin rag/dipper cry babies sat at home.

Good guess but CB3 actually, although I gave up my season tickets / going to City matches a couple of years ago.

I don’t blame anyone for not going to any match. Wembley is an overpriced, overrated shithole in an inconvenient location.

If we happen to lose today, I'll accept full responsibility for not being there. I hope that makes you feel better.

Before we convince the non city fans we should start with the weaponised city fans attacking their own fans for not affording the tickets and transport.

I think most attacks are on the can't be arsed mob rather than those who can't afford it.

Many people I know struggle to afford it, it isn't a prerequisite for a blue to support the club at the cost of their families expenses and it isn't the position of any northern football fan to support semi finals all the way in London.

If a blue isn't lapping it up it's not on thumbs out well heeled blues to call them out IMHO mate.

The only semi I've been to was against United in 2011. Great win but no cup. Went to Stoke final, great win and a cup. We've been 28 times since Stoke. Plenty of blues can afford to go but don't want to because they can't be bothered for a semi. Plenty of blues would love to go but can't afford it. I went to final last season and it was an expensive weekend. If we get to final I might go again I might not. It depends on the cost.

Just because you can afford it doesn't mean other blues can so be a bit more understanding, eh?

We'll never convince non City fans the internet put paid to that. Millions of cretins worldwide, many of whom have never spent a penny attending a football game now have a voice and spout nonsense. Trolls who get pleasure....and some like the Goldbridge bloke money from doing so. It's the so called journalists spouting this nonsense I have a problem with.
The City fans doing so are just wankers and on here a fair few are just wind up trolls pretending to be City fans.

Great post that.
