Seat Counters - 2024/25

That’s all well and good but if you are correct it will be the absolutely ridiculously priced tickets. We are a family of 4. I’m not spending 1k on a football match.

I just would like the opportunity. I was lucky enough to get tickets for the first fa cup final v United as I was a season card holder and in cup scheme at the time and been to quite a few league cup finals but I just feel the current criteria isn’t fair to cityzen members m.

hopefully there will be some tickets left under the cheaper bracket so you can go.

As of 10:02 when I got on to the website there were:

L1: 5,403
L2: 1,752
L5: 9,598

Total: 16,753 (All blocks on sale)

Given there were a few hundred ahead of me in the queue, it's probably safe to say about 17,000 went on sale.
Do you know which blocks we have been allocated on each level?

Is that from a southern based club?
They can apply for up to 10 but has to split 6 for one end and 4 the other.
(May be different at different levels)
It's a northern club. Not sure exactly how it works but I do know that his boss is a City fan so he might well be taking a couple.

By my reckoning:
  • 102-122 = 16,662 seats
  • 214-215 = 3,210 seats
  • 501-527 = 20,592 seats
That adds up to 40,404 seats which is way over our allocation?
This will include tickets distributed and sold by the FA, so these aren't counted in the stated club allocation you see on the website.

Blocks 501, 527, 214, 215 and 122 all consist of segregation splitting the block as well, so we wont have the full blocks. In fact for block 501 and 527 we literally only have 20 seats in each, making up one full column of seats

Absolutely mad. Been to many rounds in fa cup this year including the semi but don’t have a season ticket. Already accepted I won’t be able to go to the game but it’s very disheartening.

At least every osc member who applied got one irrespective of games attended.

Said it before and il say it again. Cityzen members who have been to previous games in the cup should be put into the same bracket as season card holders not on cup scheme and have attended games in cup.

It isn’t fair that season card holders not in cup scheme have an opportunity before cityzen card holders who have attended more cup games
It is fair. Season ticket holders get priority and it’s right. You attend 2 home FA cup games and want priority over season ticket holders. Behave.

Loads of clubs give priority to members who have attended FA Cup games over season ticket holders who haven't. By attending FA Cup games - whether a season ticket holder or not - means you're making a commitment to that particular competition. A season ticket holder who doesn't attend FA Cup games is making a commitment to league games only.

Personally, I think it's a valid argument.

That's why I came up with my 38K figure.

Liverpool being a prime example, dormant complacent season ticket holders led to a whole weekend of virtually no semi final sales, I agree members who have done fa cup games deserve recognition

All about opinions, which is fair enough. But I disagree and we don’t want to give the club anymore ideas. Next it will be, an FA cup season ticket. Season ticket holders make a commitment and pay a lot of money traveling to all home and away games. You can’t then have someone, who attends 2 FA cup home games, being giving priority over season ticket holders. Makes no sense to me. I’m a season ticket holder and I’m in all the schemes, so doesn’t affect me, I’m fortunate. But a member wanting priority over a season ticket holder not on the schemes, would be poor imo.

Why would it be? Again like you I'm on all cup schemes so doesn't impact me but you're only a season ticket holder for 19 PL games not for cup matches you shouldn't get priority if you're not on cup scheme imo

Sleepless night tonight for seat counters all around the world, tomorrow really is the day we've all been waiting for.

My official predictions is that after season ticket holders there will be a few thousand left for members who've attended previous FA cup games.

Whilst this will sell out, I wouldn't underestimate what a slog some of those level 2 seats might be to sell. If they are, then potentially all matchday members could be in play.

I think it's a poor second to a semi final, all the can't be arsed all over a sudden appear, no real jeopardy, arguements and excuses

Most season ticket holders don't do away games mate. And I never said a member who attends FA Cup games should get priority over ST holders who aren't on the FA Cup scheme - just over those ST holders who don't attend FA Cup games full stop. There are loads of ST holders not on the cup scheme who attend FA Cup games
