Seat Counters - 2024/25

If cup attending members start getting priority over season ticket holders for the final then this will just incentivise season ticket holders to join the cup scheme and then try to shift their cup tickets as much as possible, leaving empty seats if necessary.

I am hoping EastMidlandsBlue will step up to the plate. That would make him King of the Counters
I'll have a proper look later, got a fairly busy afternoon at work today. What I can say is that that the £75 Category 3 seats in Level 1 are all gone, so anyone else who wants to be on level 1 is going to be paying at least £125

Fyi I'm nowhere near the King of Counters, that crown goes to M18CTID or Didsbury Dave

Just a thought, but if ST holders attend ALL homes games as you say, why is there so much push back on the having to attend a certain number of games or they'll lose their ST.
Someone without a ST (because they can't get one) may have attended every home match this season, in every competition, buying tickets on a match by match basis.

Does this person not deserve some priority?
That was not the original question I was answering. This is a whole new question you are now asking mate.
Again, season ticket holders get priority for me regardless.
I’m sure the club will offer further sales criteria, after season tickets holders have had the opportunity to buy their own.

Maybe then, they will go off how many matches you’ve been this season. Which then becomes fair and becomes prioritized. IMO.

Why are season ticket holders once again getting a kicking from other supporters. It's bad enough that the club want rid of us without match day members sticking the boot in too.

The reason the club want season ticket holders to personally attend a minimum amount of fixtures has nothing to do with attendance or empty seats. It has EVERYTHING to do with the club wanting to cash in on the significant increase of match day members paying match day prices.

No, because there were only ever around 17,000 available online when they first went on sale. The rest have gone to players, staff, corporate hospitality, supporters clubs, 1894 singing section, etc
Only 17,000 out of 30,000 went to points? Surely not?

Some of the remaining 30,000 would have gone to points too as there will be a crossover with OSC members who are season ticket holders applying through their branch. Also, the tickets in the 1894 singing section - while greyed out for those who didn't apply to go in it - are only available for those who did sign up to it when their respective window opens up.

just over 18000 should have gone to points 6000 to supporters clubs to allow people there 1st game of the season and 6000 divided by club and sponsors
We laugh about this but the first game of the season is so true…joke really but it’s basically blues who are allowing it

Early predictions of which window this sells out at? No cup scheme, 3000 points (Thursday 1pm) is what I'm waiting for

Do you really believe there will be 6,000 Blues attending their first game of the season?
He didn't say that to be fair - just that some of those 6000 will be

Just to add to that - a mate of mine has got one through a supporters club. While it won't be his first game of the season, he's no longer a season ticket holder and I don't even think he's a current member. I don't know whether they assigned the ticket to his particular supporter number or if they assigned it to a season ticket holder who isn't going and it gets e-mailed on to him.

Silly question really but for this game, if the OSC receive 6k is it not beyond the IT capabilities of the club to allocate the tickets to those people who apply who have the relevant points and then email them to say they have been successful. It still doesn't stop people asking other people with points to apply on their behalf but it may stop people who have never attended a game all season receiving a ticket. Or should the branch secs only allocate tickets to those who meet the criteria. I know it wouldn't work for overseas branches but surely it will stop some of the abuse that appears to go on.

Tomorrow onwards is one of the best seat counting weeks of the year. Quiet day at work hopefully so Ill let the elite seat counters on here hit their straps and show once again why they are the best in the business.

All I said was I believe cityzen members who have been to cup games this season should have priority over season card holders who haven’t attended any.

Imo the criteria should be

Season card holders on cup scheme

Cityzen members or season card holders who have attended 4 fa cup matches this season

Then dropping by 3 games, 2 games etc.

I don’t think that’s an outlandish statement to make. It’s not like cityzen members have the opportunity to get a season card and if they did many would like to get one.

A season card rightly gives a supporter priority for league away games. If you choose to not enter the cup scheme then you shouldn’t then get priority if you haven’t attended any games in that competition imo.

No, but i know for a fact there are literally loads of people who have put precisely nothing into City this season will be enjoying a Cup final day out because they are in a branch, i have access to a branch and have seen at least 8 people within it get tickets, they have not seen the inside of The Etihad once this season, nor previous seasons in all truth.
