Seat Counters - 2024/25

We laugh about this but the first game of the season is so true…joke really but it’s basically blues who are allowing it
100% true mate, i am witnessing it with my very own eyes, no doubt there are some fantastic supporters clubs who have a system that is fair and transparent, but the club allow this ludicrous loophole to be exploited, any boy is it exploited, so so wrong

He didn't say that to be fair - just that some of those 6000 will be

Just to add to that - a mate of mine has got one through a supporters club. While it won't be his first game of the season, he's no longer a season ticket holder and I don't even think he's a current member. I don't know whether they assigned the ticket to his particular supporter number or if they assigned it to a season ticket holder who isn't going and it gets e-mailed on to him.
Risky for the osc branch and the season ticket holder if they are forced to show ID.

Tomorrow onwards is one of the best seat counting weeks of the year. Quiet day at work hopefully so Ill let the elite seat counters on here hit their straps and show once again why they are the best in the business.

If it is a quiet day at work i totally recommend getting involved, throw a few curve balls out there, it's what seat counting was made for.

The ticket site is a hive of activity compared to the semi final, each time you log on you need to input a code and watch the little man make his walk up the screen, no straight in this time, for seat counters time waits for no man

Just away from FA Cup Final tickets, Bournemouth have returned the top tier so adult tickets for De Bruyne's last home game are only £30 in that section

Incidentally, adult tickets in all other areas of the ground outside of 93:20 and the normal away section are priced at £56 and £58. Now I could've sworn this was originally a £71 and £73 game as a solitary ticket was showing in NS2 earlier today at £73. @blueparrot Any chance you can clarify with you being a match day buyer? While cheaper match day tickets have been a big part of the recent protests and it will be welcomed if the club have listened and decided to reduce them, it's a bit naughty if those tickets were £71 and £73 last summer because it punishes those who committed to them early on.

I don't know for sure as these tickets sold out before I got one, the last couple of years last home game sells quickest. But the last home game generally and I've had one every other year is priced at the higher priced games so I'd expect this to have been £71.

This is what I thought mate. There was definitely a £73 ticket showing in NS2 this morning. Now it's £58 if you buy one in there! Frustrating for those who paid the higher price but going forward if this is the start of the club reducing match day prices it's good news

Hope so, also as this is the first last game I've missed for quite a while I think it may be the reason we aren't collecting the trophy so expect to be offered a guaranteed seats for the last game next season :)
As it happens couldn't have gone on the Tuesday night anyway.:)

All I said was I believe cityzen members who have been to cup games this season should have priority over season card holders who haven’t attended any.

Imo the criteria should be

Season card holders on cup scheme

Cityzen members or season card holders who have attended 4 fa cup matches this season

Then dropping by 3 games, 2 games etc.

I don’t think that’s an outlandish statement to make. It’s not like cityzen members have the opportunity to get a season card and if they did many would like to get one.

A season card rightly gives a supporter priority for league away games. If you choose to not enter the cup scheme then you shouldn’t then get priority if you haven’t attended any games in that competition imo.
Anyone that’s been to four FA Cup games this season will be a season card holder on the scheme. Getting tickets for Leyton Orient and Bournemouth required that.
If you wanted to implement the criteria you’re suggesting, you’d need to limit the games attended to home ties plus the semi final.

Juniors are £15 in all stands.

Actually even cheaper in the Bournemouth returns stand. £13 in there.

No, but i know for a fact there are literally loads of people who have put precisely nothing into City this season will be enjoying a Cup final day out because they are in a branch, i have access to a branch and have seen at least 8 people within it get tickets, they have not seen the inside of The Etihad once this season, nor previous seasons in all truth.
Totally true..i know this to be fact, and it's a complete piss take

So using your argument - a Cityzen member who's attended solely FA Cup ties gets preferential treatment to someone who paid up front for the PL season but couldn't make the Cup games??
Sorry sir, it is what it is and I think it's right in all honesty, same with the points system for aways. What's wrong is not allowing new season tickets, and syphoning off tickets from the away allocations
Don't worry though the way the club is going they'll have ballots before long - you'll probably need to pay to enter though ;)
