Not sure why for Wembley that SC receive a separate allocation, maybe a small amount for overseas branches but if it is done correctly then all SC members could get in line like the rest of the SC holders and members etc. If the stories are true that UK branch members who aren't even SC holders or members are getting tickets via a branch even the most ardent of SC supporters would say that is wrong. It will be interesting to see at what level this sells out.

Yes it will be interesting. all sc holders who could not be arsed going to the semi will all dive on final and the ones im sick of Wembley 30 times we have been???

Fucking disgraceful, 12k not even reaching the season tickets and points system
The vast majority of our match day going OSC members are season ticket holders, on the cup schemes and have more points than a huge % of supporters. Average age mid 50’s, very few youngsters or fans under 30.
I’ve had a season ticket 52 years.
So you talk bollox, so ill informed!

Does that line include the cup scheme queue jumpers & the ones who have bought their extra loyalty points through platinum?. Also you can add the ones who used to sell their away tickets just for the loyalty points.

So not all and therfore a subsection are negating the clubs policy on who should get tickets, so he isn't talking abollocks at all

It's absolute bollocks, I know for a fact to get a ticket allocated to yourself through a supporters club you have to have at minimum a matchday membership.

Now if were talking members of a supporters club letting others in their branch use their numbers thats a different argument but the fault there would lie with the committee/members of said branch not City

Live football tickets have tickets in our end, some where you can get 11 together! Now how do they get that many together? There is also a 10 and a 9 together too. All lower tier.

All others are 1/2/3/4’s with a couple of 6’s too. (Some of them club Wembley level though)

From your description, it sounds like the OSC
doesn't seem to be a driving force in bringing forward a next generation of fans into the OSC?
If that description is correct across majority of
OSC it sounds like a bleak future once current mid 50s group moves on....? In other threads posters have discussed similar % ageing ST holders and ways in which the Club needs to prioritise ways to involve greater % of younger fans to deliver a strong base of local fans for the future

I think those are the characteristics of a Greater Manchester based OSC. A southern based OSC near me has relatively few Season Ticket Holders, yet nearly all have been successful in applying for one for the final.

Now I don't personally have an issue with it, but If this sells out before all season tickets have the chance to buy, you can see why that might wind a few people up?

Yes I’ve benefitted from an OSC, and I’ve more than done my time but the allocations are indefensible.

Must admit I’m sweating a bit, only qualify tomorrow, been to the last 3 semis & 2 finals and don’t remember questioning whether I’ll get one as much as this. It’s the resale sites and tickets via other avenues that have increased the jeopardy, but that’s the chance you take not having all the family in the cup schemes & deciding you’re all going to the final. Lashed out £600 on a hotel, trains, and things to do for the little fella over the weekend, so all else fails I’ll be having a weekend in the smoke & watch it in the pub :)

Most of the people in my supporters club are season ticket holders and still apply through the OSC channel. Also we get two away ticket maximum for a PL game. I’m not sure where all this anger comes from towards them. It’s also really easy to join your local branch.
it actually isn't, i was browsing the website looking at the branches we had, i mistakenly clicked on my local branch and by doing it applied to join, they rejected me, they must have known me, cunts.

you will get one if you are willing to pay

Must admit I nearly put my hand up when Worsleyweb said he had one for £50, but it’s the grandsons first trip to Wembley, he’s absolutely buzzing for it, don’t think he’d of been happy waving me off at Marleybone. Definitely won’t be paying over the odds

That's irrelevant, the point is people who may support the club who aren't a SC holder, not in the cup scheme and not even a member are supposedly getting tickets because they are a branch member. That's the inference from other posters.

Not sure what a cup scheme queue jumper is, platinum is the fault of the club and should have been scrapped years ago, in fact it should never have been introduced. Those who sold their away tickets for points were few and far between IMO.
