Seat Counters - 2024/25

Why can't they do members with loyalty points, really grinds me that does.
It’s a difficult one with no easy answer. Basing it on points rewards long term loyalty but it means that someone that hasn’t been to an FA Cup tie for years potentially gets priority over somebody that made the effort to go to Salford, Plymouth and the SF this season.

The FA Cup final ticket prices are the perfect reason why people swerved the FA Cup Semi-Final.

I was lucky, I got a £75 ticket in L1, where I wanted to stand, only because of my loyalty points and being in the FA Cup scheme.

Crazy that there’s a £95 difference between the seat I sat in for the semi and the seats in for the final in the same sort of area are going for £125. Robbing bastards. I made the decision to sit it out this year a few days ago. Football is becoming to expensive, I’m fortunate to earn a decent wage so I can’t imagine how it must feel for people who can’t afford to go to the odd game over the course of the season.
it's criminal and getting more yank one off event pricing to come
tickets sell out and the price fixers say whats issue maybe shouldve been dearer

It will continue because football fans are gullible and I include myself in that . Must admit though that I wouldn’t pay £125 for a ticket for the FA Cup final .

Looking like there’ll be around 2000 left for Cityzen matchday members tomorrow split between levels 2 and 5 with just a few in level 1.
It was good to see some new talent coming through in the last seat count. This one will be very different- this one will be about reassuring people on low points and tight budgets.

I’ll get the first guess in (although I haven”t heard the official allocation) that the last 2000 or so will go to Matchday members but will be only expensive seats leading to an outcry from them about price.
Us Seat Counters should be given a seat on the City board.

charging 285 pounds for a football match is shameful, imagine being up for ticket for you and your lad, and it comes in at over 500 quid for both before travel. Anyone know why the club took tickets out of the cheaper categories, surely the players/directors could afford to pay for those

I’m actually quite glad we’ve been wank this year because if we made it to Munich it would have been a fucker my bank account. I’m going to the club world cup next month and it’s two months away from season ticket payment, it’s just to much to paying out for 90 minutes of football. I’ll be gutted next weekend when I’m not there but I’ll be more than made up in a months time when I know I’ve saved a bit more cash for my America trip.

I paid £145 for my ticket in Istanbul two years ago, I thought that was steep for my first champions league final. Anything north of £100+ for a domestic game is taking the piss, no matter the occasion.

Wembley / the FA / clubs should be dealt with over the pricing for Level 2. I doubt very much whether the public realises the costs that football fans are being asked to pay at the moment.

I can just about justify to myself paying £125 for a Cup Final ticket because it's the exception. But then that logic starts to fail when there are 10 exceptions per year.

I still expect a chunk of returns to come on sale at some point. I seem to remember it happening last year or the year before after the allocation had all gone.
