Seat Counters - 2024/25

Could any of these additional returns be from one of the many resellers the club use? A company called Ticombo had around 500 seats in the city end for sale a day or two ago, nevermind the others.

I don't think it should go direct to all members next as next criteria would in effect be x1 FaCup game.
This criteria would include those members that attended Forest semi @ Wembley. I think they should
get a window before going all members. Particularly as there has been x4,x3 and x2 separate windows

I think there's too many windows already. Seems a complete waste of a day today. Even more so if the next criteria isn't introduced until Monday.

Whilst I understand they may want to give some priority to individuals that have been to FA Cup games. As somebody alluded to they are generally cheaper and I can't see a lot of that demographic buying tickets in excess of 3 figures. If somebody has been to 10 league games in my eyes they shouldn't be behind somebody that's been to 2 cup games.

9am 2 FA Cup games this season plus Wembley

12- Wembley and/or 5 fixtures this season regardless of competition

4pm Members with purchase history

Something like that'd be a more logical approach. It's not just the price of the remaining tickets, everything gets more expensive on top the more this drags on.

You know what’d sell more tickets?

Not kicking off at 4.30pm in the afternoon and charging 125 sodding quid for the privilege.

The fact all the cheaper tickets have sold and it’s only the more expensive “better” seats left should tell them something.

I was going to go but at that price they can shove it up their arse.

It will but they will eventually go, so they won't be arsed how long they take to sell.

Sideways!

I wouldn't have bought at £125, so only got a ticket when the £75 ones appeared. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the 'pleasure' of visiting Wembley but more than that is a joke.

I wouldn't be bothered if the whole of level 2 remained empty, providing media remember to mention the cost of the tickets, although they seem to forget when they get theirs for free.

That's a good point.

I reckon if one of the criteria was "members who attended the Real Madrid 4-0 home game" this one would sell out in no time. We'll have a lot of local families with membership and then a lot of what you would call tourists who want the instagram experience. They won't have been to an FA Cup tie at home to Salford, but they'll probably have paid to go hospitality against the dippers or to a CL game.

It's those fans that would buy the higher cost tickets, there are enough of them out there. But they wouldn't have qualified for a semi final ticket and as I said, the tout sites will be offering tickets for a similar price to the ones remaining. I'm still confident it will sell out though. We'll have people in and around London who can buy tickets next week without the travel costs/issues.
What is wrong with new fans turning up for City matches. You did once. So did I.

How did you identify the tourists vs Real Madrid?

Not quite sure why they didn’t have another window today - Any Citizen card member. Seems daft dragging it out over the weekend.
I think that at 4, effectively any active member will be eligible. The cup tickets are cheaper. How many members over the last three years haven't been to 2 FA Cup matches? Very very few.
Going straight to any member would enable touts. The criteria gives genuine fans a shot.
I get that people may not be happy about prices and not being able to be sat together. I can't get who hasn't been able to at least see the prices.

I think from tomorrow they should just allow people to buy additional tickets. I need another one but the person I need it for should be at the back of the queue, and is.

OK, so I would probably pay £225 face value for a premium seat BUT living near Plymouth the last train is 7.30 pm at a cost of £135 return. So that leaves driving at a cost of £100 plus parking and being knackered (5 hours each way) and sober! Or the extra cost of a hotel plus parking.
It's the 4.30 KO time that's a bugger.

Problem solved
