If I was KDB, I would buy those remaining Club Wembley seats and give them to Manchester school children.

Chuck in a few Mayne's and Finglands coaches and lets's get them down to Wembley (with appropriate adults of course).

He said in his leaving statement that his kids were Mancunian...this would cement his and their legacy in our great city.

And if he did, I’ll guarantee that within 5 minutes of them disappearing off the planner, they’ll be a whole bunch of diehards on here, claiming they’ve been a City fan for 50 years and were just about to buy one.

I think the problem is folks were hoping to get them for £50 / £75.

Did it once and it was dire. No atmosphere at all. Saw John Motson on the concourse though. Told him what I thought about the ref and he looked at me in a bemused manner.

My brother and nephew become eligible on Monday but I am not sure whether they can go because he does shift work. It will be a mad scramble on Monday morning because I think there will be less than 100 Level 1 seats left and thousands of fans online.

Just do it at the start, not at the start of the second half, as Wembley is always 1/2 empty then !
