Seat Counters - 2024/25

Bedtime count:

L1 - 90
L2 - 1566

Total- 1656

Let’s see how many we shift tomorrow when it drops to 1 FA Cup purchase?!
It’s got to go to any member late Monday or Tuesday, or the ticket office needs firing!!
We might shift that 90 when it goes down to one FA cup purchase. Then they’ll probably do fuck all all day and then release another criteria for Tuesday morning of members with 2500
Points or something. And those tier 2 tickets still will barely sell. They’ve left it too late. People don’t attend cup finals for £285 on a whim

I have won the lottery. Buying the lot so will give them all to Wright Robby and the staff who serve my pint in the Kippax.

Of course, but the FA have been charging this for those seats for a few years now. City’s ticket office should have been aware of this and got these seats on sale to the tourist/student/glory hunter fans who will pay that kind of money.

All they had to do was reduce the selling criteria last Thursday and these seats would have sold. Now it’s too late.

They have increased this season

I think we've had the rush, we've sold 33000 tickets and would have sold the other 1500 if they were reasonably priced.
That is not City's fault and whatever criteria they had put out,I personally don't think that these tickets would have sold at the prices.
I would say we havnt quite sold 32k..but good effort

Maybe Dave but most people know there were going to loads of the £285 tickets left when it got close to general sale. The tickets are just far too expensive.

They are quite incompetent at times but there not that incompetent.
There will be a new criteria for 1pm, unfortunately it will be the criteria that should have been in place from Friday at 4pm for all members with a purchase history
And at 4pm today, any season ticket holder can buy extras .

City expected us to sell all tickets after the 1pm criteria on Friday according to @M18CTID . It shows how out of touch they are.

Don't be surprised to see some tickets come back onsale today from the clubs ticket touting partners.

I hope you are right, but don't they usually announce criteria to come into effect the next day?
The latter criteria you mentioned is the one that will shift the most tickets.

The TO knows the terms of their deals with the partners - making the criteria baffling.

On another point - I called the TO on Friday regarding my ticket.
The wait was going to be over 1 hour so I hung up.
As sales were sluggish (to say the least) on Friday, what were the so busy with? Season ticket relocations?

Yes that’s true but we’ve also got a lot of
moaners who would be outraged the tickets sold out before our club scheduled them too.

Like DD said ,the Club could have lowered the requirements sooner. After all, even the tickets we’ve sold in L2 is exaggerated -price wise- by cheaper access and free or very cheap carer tickets

Probably people phoning them up with random questions

Just now:

L1 - 59
L2 - 1,553

Total - 1,612

So 48% of Level 2 unsold.

It'll be carnage for those remaining L1 tickets at 10am

Predictions on the size of the queue? I'm going 5000-ish. If it's a genuine 5000, I suppose it only needs 1 in 3 to bite the bullet on the Level 2 tickets for it to sell out. And while there's no way a local family of 4 would fork out over £1000 for 4 tickets, there will be some fans who are prepared to stump up

So, apart from the level 2 seats, the criteria has been pretty accurate. Personally I think even L2 should go to previous attendance, or extras for others who already qualified. Don't want social media videos of palace fans scrapping on the level 2 concourse, ruining everyone's day.
