Seat Counters - 2024/25

Iv got my ticket downloaded to my wallet but I also need to add two others for my kids. Anyone know if a screen shot of the qr code will work?
You should be able to add them to your wallet. I have both mine and my sons in my google wallet. I normally let him go through first and then swipe through to my ticket.

Seeing that number is always a reminder to me to wonder who actually makes up the other 20K plus tickets. I mean I know they are distributed to the wider FA family etc, but I wonder how many actually end up in the hands of City (or Palace) supporters …

As an aside - as it affected the KO time - I must inform you that the first Eurovision semi final starts at 8pm BST this evening.
Don't all thank me at once for the reminder.

Off topic.

Yet another example of companies shafting football fans, be it ticket prices, travel prices, hotel prices, etc.

Easy Jet flight to Bilbao, one way, Tuesday the 20th, the day before the Thursday Night Cup final, £917.99.

Back to topic.

Now then, now then now then. If you're a BBC licence payer and an avid Eurovision fan, would you have a case to sue either the BBC or ITV if you missed it due to travelling back after the 16:30 kick off they enforced on the fans?

Every club who enters the cup gets a couple at least, all the way down the pyramid. Plis County FAs etc
Anyone who’s struggling might be well advised to contact their local non league club, especially those from out of town, got a few spares for mates that way in the past

Yeah, I mean a final like this year, if you’re from the Midlands or the North and not a CP or a City supporter, how much interest would a fan of any other team have in making the trip down?
I can’t imagine many.

Nearly all do. They still have to be ordered and paid for and you have to state who you support when you order. As I keep saying I got two and the way it worked was this: my mate who works for a football club texted me and said “Do you need cup final tickets?” To which I said yes. He spoke to his Club secretary who had to reply to the FA stating how many tickets they wanted and in which club’s end. Then th club had to pay for the tickets.

They arrived today, paper tickets, stating they are FA Members tickets but also stating “Manchester City Supporters Only”. I’ve transferred the money straight to his club and then they emailed them through to me, two £175 cat 1 tickets.

If you think about it there aren’t really any serious chances of a neutral getting any tickets this way. I am sure the odd tout has contacts like this but the club would also get punished if their ticket was found to have been misused. Hope this makes sense.

That’s where the tickets that end up on the tout agencies come from
Can’t imagine many non league sides around Merseyside, Midlands, North East etc being arsed

Mind you, had a lovely elderly couple from Norfolk sat next to us at the Yaya final, in our end behind the goal. He was a local FA stalwart and they were supporting us the whole game. They’d never been to Wembley before so suppose there’s quite a few like that

I spoke to a few such fans in our end against Spurs in 1981. They thought it was great they could attend a cup final as the small local team they supported would never get to one. Over 40 years later and the cup final.not having the aura it did back then I wonder if the interest would still be as strong. Also that game was the centenary cup final so I think a lot wanted to be there just for that alone.
