To be fair, the 500 tickets are a mix of season ticket holders who aren't going listing on the exchange and returns from other sources - be it 3rd party agencies or whatever - so it's no biggie really. We shifted all the 1400 or so £30 tickets that Bournemouth didn't take in about 24 hours or so, plus loads more have shifted in other parts of the stadium in the meantime. It won't be like the Villa or Leicester games where there were thousands of unsold seats.Last home game of the season, last home appearance of an absoloute legand, we desperately need the win, fine sunny evening..and still nearly 500 seats left. Adults are £58 (madness), but all kids are £15.
You'd hope the club have one serious plan for shifting the new 6,000 extra seats next year. They're gonna neeed it.
You're right that they need to have a good think about filling all those extra seats next season though
