They do and they don’t.I honestly wouldn't underestimate them here, the Geordies travel really well.
I like the idea of getting it on general sale in theory, however if there are then Geordies all over the home end then everyone will point fingers at the club asking why they put it on general sale.
I think it's a bit of a lose lose for the club this unfortunately, however they don't help themselves
We took 9,000 to Spurs last year (or year before) for the league cup, same night, they were at Fulham and took 2,000. Alright we’re a chunk of the country closer to Spurs but it’s still a long way for us.
They’ve failed to fill the away end at the Etihad numerous times over recent years. Not knocking them, it’s understandable with the amount football fans are forced to fork out to follow their clubs but let’s see how appetising a midweek game when you’re 2-0 down, at a ground where your record is shite, is.
I can’t imagine they’ll be queuing up to get in the home end whilst starting 2-0 down.
