Seat Counters 25/26

343 tickets sold since yesterday at Noon.
Tickets available for Champions League game next week against Galatasary.

Level 0: 2,589

Level 1: 2,075

Level 3: 737

Total: 5,401 tickets available (several areas on the planner have been greyed out i.e. CB Level 3 and South Stand Level 3 - so this figure is only a rough guide).
Would SS level 3 not be greyed out as its for Newcastle fans so will never be on sale for us so only CB 3 not fully on sale?

That line about mensa and the convoluted process of actually buying a ticket is just as relevant as the price of the ticket

These people are often belittled but, we're surrounded by neutrals and "occasional" football supporters who might prefer City over United, but not enough to stomach the appalling post match tram service or spending £35 on a membership

THey might literally only want to attend one game, but the club will need them next season, especially for the less attractive fixtures.

Most of this forum are regulars and have joked and complained whilst wearily growing accustomed to the hassle of buying a ticket whether it be the time involved or comprehending the eligibility criteria

That has got to stop.
The mrs, who gave up her 10 year season ticket when I got banned, was going to buy a ticket for her son for the Wolves game as he's up in Manchester this weekend.

To do so, the Club expect her to buy a £35 membership for the privilege of doing so. Fucking ridiculous. Best part of £8k spent on her season card over the years, only for the Club to want to milk another £35 off her.

The seat will remain unsold.

That deserves an "unlike" as £35 is such a miniscule proportion of the total revenue when compared with the TV and Prize Money that the club receives annually

I'd love to know how many neutrals/occasional visitors have took one look at that membership fee before opting to do something else

This has massively damaged our attendances. "Casual" fans can barely get a ticket now. I'm on a City ticket exchange facebook page and every game it gets full of people asking for tickets so they can go and make take their son or daughter or whatever, yet City are still selling tickets.

I know the driver behind this is matchday revenue but I think that better and noisier crowds will attract people to the stadium lespecially corporates. There is an opportunity this summer but they aren't going to take it, it seems.

what we need is a good sunday evening fa cup semi final against Coventy for the ticket office to really show us their allocating skills and for this thread to get a boost. Just had a mate ask me can i get him 2 tickets for galatasaray next week, i simply have no idea, i have no faith in actually getting them to him if i break the code of ordering any, put simply i cannot be bothered with the risk or aggravation, he has no supporter numbers he just fancies a game with his mate, i am guessing this will be totally off limits.

The membership fee makes more sense for supporters who want to get themselves on the ticket ladder and buy tickets, as and when they become available

It's an absolute disgrace for non-City supporters who just happen to be in town and for whatever reason fancy attending a low key fixture that isn't a sellout

I’m being deadly serious here and I know it’ll never happen, but they need some actual match going working class blues to be involved in this decision making or advising the club, because it’s ruining our fanbase.

Maybe they know and don’t care though?

Travesty that particularly when up to 3 tickets can be bought by any ST holder for this game.

Liverpool have attracted crowds for years based on people wanting to experience the "Famous Anfield Atmosphere" (Even though it's a complete myth).

In comparison, the etihad is perceived as a Library that never even sells out.

If I was a clueless tourists or corporate, I know which I'd be more attracted to.

Another example of the club failing to have any long term planning or strategy.

Corporate was designed for tax efficiency at every club.

As for "clueless tourists", football tourism is a huge industry. Wealthy people booking holidays around PL/CL fixture weeks is a massive money spinner. For example:

Saturday PL at the swamp, Sunday PL at Arsenal, Monday at Brighton, Tuesday Spurs CL, Wednesday Chelsea CL, Thursday or Friday travel home.

They'll do the same type of organised trip to Spain or Germany etc next year.

People will definitely have done this as part of a package holiday, and they'll have spent hundreds in club shops at every venue.

It's modern football, driven by media hype. Clubs are simply targeting the market via ticket agencies etc while it still exists.

This club will never get it - it would cost £69.50 for me to stand in the Kippax Corner with my uncle. £69.50!!! vs a Wolves team who had 3 points all season up until the new year. And that’s not even factoring in the travel up there. Call me a fake fan all you want but absolutely no one can justify paying close to £95 for a Saturday 3pm kick off, especially when we have 2 important midweek games coming up
I will let you in to a secret. Buy a match day membership and you can pick up a match ticket on the forums for peanuts.

I am in 93:20 and so are you saying tickets are more expensive in the Kippax Corner. Seems a bit strange.

You also get genuine tourists queueing up at the ticket office to buy memberships and match day tickets.

It they can't be bothered getting free supporters numbers, that's a two minute job, I wouldn't bother trying to help them. I have found over the years that people who can't sort supporters numbers waste a lot of their mates time.

The club don’t want ST holders they want day trippers
Wonder if they will fill the new stand especially if we have no trophies thus season
Yet I struggle to get my grandson a ST with the rest of my family
Maybe I should get him a half and half
Not a chance BTW
