Seat Counters 25/26

When Elland Road is rocking with, “We all Love Leeds” and twirling scarves. It is the best atmosphere in the Prem
Leeds support has been great most of the time. Their support collapsed in the 80s and early 90s but so did everywhere else. The epic battles with us in the 70s were some of the biggest atmospheres I have ever experienced. They also have a great away following as we do. The away following stayed with them in the lower leagues as well. Of course Elland Road is a tiny stadium and when it was much bigger they did not always fill it. But those that did turn up made plenty of noise.

I think you’ll be surprised tomorrow…I’ve got 4 and getting another 4 tomorrow as waiting on one junior member. I know a number that are similar…I reckon they will be gone by close tomorrow but we shall see!
Get yourself right off this forum this instance fella mi lad! We WON'T tolerate any kind of positivity of any kind, especially on a Wednesday morning. Shame on your positive vibes Oils.

The Celtic atmosphere at their place for the CL game against us is still the best I can recall.

Non-Prem admittedly.

Yes it was incredible at times than night. I even managed to avoid most of the long queue for tickets as a Celtic fan invited me into a locals bar.

Rangers belting out Penny Arcade and Ibroxonia on Sunday was pretty special too.

We’ve only had two really good atmospheres at Wembley since 2014 against Sunderland.

Arsenal in 2018 and United in 2023.

Other than that, the other 21 games have mostly been terrible from us for atmosphere. Forest last year wasn’t too bad, but we had loads of empty seats and it wasn’t a final. The final against Palace was the worst atmosphere from us of all our visits.

Even Watford in 2019 were out singing us at times in the second half when they were getting hammered.
If we got to Wembley once in a blue moon, the atmosphere would be very good, being married to miss world gets boring eventually

it takes a combination of factors to create a great final atmosphere, like a first cup win in eons and an awesome song that gets everyone at it, came across this just recently, Hibs fans at Hampden ...

Seems to be busier this window

20 minutes in:

Level 5 - 8083
Level 2 - 981
Level 1 - 1518

Total - 10,582
Just had a quick look now and it appears that the Level 5 Safe Standing areas have been nowhere near as popular as the Level 5 seated areas so far.

I guess this could be because people who want to stand tend to go in Level 1 and once Level 1 sells out we'll see more uptake in the Level 5 safe standing.

I hope that we don't reach a point where it's just safe standing left and we have people who intend on sitting buying tickets there

Blimey, this thread doesn't half go off piste! I come on here to see how many tickets are left before I'm eligible tomorrow, and I get videos of Hibs fans waving their scarves.

I’m surprised Wembley have done this. Bit odd to assume that this many want to stand all game. Not everyone does. Like you say it also gives those who can’t stand for whatever reason, no options if these prove to be the only ones that are left.

I don't personally disagree with it. Plenty want to stand and plenty want to sit, and this is a good way of splitting these groups. I know there's been a fair bit of aggro in the past on Level 5 regarding whether people are sitting or standing.

As you say though if safe standing is the only option left this could create an issue, however I'm hoping we might just be alright as theres still plenty of sitting down seats from blocks 526-531

Only 10 pounds more and you are a lot nearer to the pitch and its seating as opposed to safe standing.
The safe standing will soon go once the 50 pounders have gone.

How many ST holders do you think are in the sub-5000 points bracket mate?
You probably have to factor in anyone who has bought a season ticket in the last 12 years and didn't go on premium and didnt join any cup schemes or people who have dropped out of cup schemes in that period.
Rhe above being where the criteria will be at 4pm.
My guess would be between 3 and 5000

To be fair, it's all the Wee Team are famous for....
