Seat Counters 25/26

It's truly ridiculous, in this day and age of forensic digital tracking, that Clubs can't enforce their own T&C's to control industrial-scale touting. Treating genuine long-term supporters (and the next generation) as collateral damage is not only commercial suicide, it's shameful mismanagement.

It's akin to putting a restraining order on a complete neighbourhood, because the sex offender at No 9 can't keep his knob in his kecks.

Allegedly.
Or subjecting all airline passengers to extreme levels of scrutiny rather than intelligence based targeting

Looks like newcastle won't sell out then (and the tickets were priced too high)? Still expect the place to be rocking but it should be packed to the rafters and I doubt that's because of lack of demand

It won't be far off sold out maybe a couple of hundred short the majority of tickets are season ticket holders listing on the exchange these will disappear at 5pm.

I am Manchester born and bred. The place is desperate to be London but the infrastructure and transport is shite. Hosting the game whilst James Arthur is performing is a moronic decision and will be a nightmare getting back tonight.

Originally the game was supposed to be at 12:30 and some 8hrs before Arthur takes to the stage. It was only fairly recently moved to an 8pm kick-off, and we can blame the PL for that as they've moved it to suit Newcastle due to their CL playoffs.

Regardless, the infrastructure around the campus is awful and made even worse by the extended parking restrictions. This should have been looked at before the arena was built but wasn't.

Any third party returns would've already gone back on the planner so what we're seeing available now will be virtually all seat exchange tickets. Agree about the pricing but while we can blame the club for some things, it's not City's fault that this is a rearranged game and pricing for it would've been determined back in the summer. They're far more short-sighted when pricing up midweek league games - games that were always scheduled for midweek and haven't been rearranged from a weekend - at similar prices to this one.

For all the talk of there being lots of no shows for this game due to Piccadilly station being closed, there are a lot less tickets showing as available than I expected. I think the ground will be relatively full tomorrow night
dont worry dennis oz and bomber will inform us if any empty seats are present

Desperate to be London, destined to be more like Croydon. Second-rate infrastructure and transport system that would struggle even if James Arthur wasn't in town.

Football pandering to TV as usual. The real game died in 1992.

I know, I was looking forward to it being a 12.30 KO

Pretty poor :-( club need to wake up.
These are almost all single seats due to the 8pm KO.

In addition to the KO time, Manchester Piccadilly station is closed to most trains and that makes transport for out of town City fans difficult.

If that crowd materialises, then that's really good. Pep has been asking for adjusted KO times for clubs with midweek European games.

They don’t want people to drive. They want them to walk or take the bus and tram. What we need is Bee Network to provide an adequate service before and after matches. The tram service is terrible

It was looked at before the arena was built, they took away about 5,000 more pasking spaces and provided 200 electric bike stands. The Arena owners agreed to pay for the extended resident parking area and enforcement, signed the deal, then consulted on it.

It was greed from the Arena owners which led to this, whoever those shithouses are.
