I'm not completely convinced myself just yet.
We'll see how tomorrow morning goes, but I think there's still a pretty real possibility that we fall a few thousand short here.

I’m old enough to remember Aldershot getting drawn at home to Oxford in the 1986/87 FA Cup 3rd round. Oxford were in the top flight at the time and Aldershot were in the 4th division. They tripled their match day ticket prices thinking they’d fill it as it was considered a glamour tie. This was back in the days when few, if any, clubs pulled those kind of stunts and it was such big news that it made the headlines on Grandstand on the day of the game.Don’t know what Port Vale were charging for the Sunderland game but the ground looked half empty for one of their greatest ever results
I’m looking at flapjack’s comparison with last season’s game and I think we’re at around 2000-2500 less sales at the same stage of the criteria, so I reckon this sells out comfortably tomorrowI'm not completely convinced myself just yet.

Yeah agree with those numbers, might be my memory but wasn't it a bit of a slog to sell the final few thousand last year?I’m looking at flapjack’s comparison with last season’s game and I think we’re at around 2000-2500 less sales at the same stage of the criteria, so I reckon this sells out comfortably tomorrow
Tfgm concessionary travel pass restrictions were removed from last week, travel any time Monday to Friday.I can't make it for a 9.45 am kick off. My oap bus pass doesn't start till 09.30.
I suspect you’ll be correct and if we get past Madrid, we’ll have the home leg of the CL QF (probably against Bayern) a few days after the Liverpool game. It might be an expensive few weeks….Will be similar pricing to the Madrid home game I reckon.
Yeah, you could be right about last season, what with it being a play-off game for fans to shell out for at short notice so they didn’t fly off the shelves as quick as a game against Real normally would.Yeah agree with those numbers, might be my memory but wasn't it a bit of a slog to sell the final few thousand last year?
Hopefully you're right, Wembley certainly showed us you should never underestimate the number of people with matchday memberships waiting to buy.
Why can’t they put all the Madrid fanboys in the top block which Real have not sold.I'm not completely convinced myself just yet.

All they’ve got to do if it doesn’t sell out tomorrow is allow season ticket holders to buy an extra ticket or 2.I'm not completely convinced myself just yet.

Agreed - though it doesn’t half help if the extra seat or 2 are adjacent or nearbyAll they’ve got to do if it doesn’t sell out tomorrow is allow season ticket holders to buy an extra ticket or 2.
Having said that,There’s about the same number left as there were when Wembley went to members and that sold out within 2 hours.
I don’t think a lot of young adults can be bothered anymore. All need membership, hard to get tickets together and higher prices. A lot of people just love the crack of the day out stood with their mates and watching some football. So many of my city supporting mates now follow lower league football! Is there? I wouldn’t say that’s happening regularly on a match day. I rarely if ever see groups of young adults at league matches for example.
When a lot of our older fans stop going, I’m not sure who’s going to replace them, as huge numbers have been priced out.
The lower league is full of charlatan fans who pretend they are a lower league supporter. If City folded that would be it for me. No more football.I don’t think a lot of young adults can be bothered anymore. All need membership, hard to get tickets together and higher prices. City fans would start a new City club like other club fans have done. The lower league is full of charlatan fans who pretend they are a lower league supporter. If City folded that would be it for me. No more football.
I dunno. If that scenario happened, I might be tempted to walk down the Yellow Brick Road some Saturdays to watch Abbey Hey.The lower league is full of charlatan fans who pretend they are a lower league supporter. If City folded that would be it for me. No more football.
This was always danger of all seated stadium. Away games nobody really arsed if wrong seat as long as can see and roughly right area now home game that's my seat and I sit thereI don’t think a lot of young adults can be bothered anymore.
