The problem is, a lot on that group want a cheaper than face value one or a freebie. The club are getting it wrong, so so many asking for Liverpool tickets on Facebook, surely it should be easier to get them
I'm on those groups. A lot of the people who ask for tickets for games which are still on sale seem to be single mums with City supporting kids and other people like that, who are not really engaged with the club, don't have meberships and don't really know how it works. These are the people the club have lost trough the membership scheme, what used to be called the "walk ups".The club are getting it wrong, so so many asking for Liverpool tickets on Facebook, surely it should be easier to get them
A lot of people will be in the same boat Dexter. We’ve just had a Cup Final so plenty of Blues are a bit short of funds. The match will sell out so I’m not sure why some other posters are panicking.Pay day coming up. That's why I haven't got one yet.
You didn't have a season ticket and hardly went at all for the best part of two decades, but got one under Pep and are disappointed you can't pick and choose your aways. Then blame the system.Would love to have gone to Chelsea but it's the same people getting the tickets for every away, no chance if you don't have a zillion points. Shit system which just protects the few, same faces, really dissapoointing

You had not interest in going aways in the past hence your 9k points so you reap what you sew.Totally agree pal, my boys have to pay inflated tout prices for away games, a ballot is surely fairer. A least then their a small chance of a ticket
He clearly said “my boys”, which suggests they might not have had the opportunity to go in the past, depending on age. A better system would be a combination of loyalty points and a ballot. You had not interest in going aways in the past hence your 9k points so you reap what you sow.
they tried to address this a few seasons ago introducing the 18 - 21 or 25 allocation so younger fans have a chance of away ticketsHe clearly said “my boys”, which suggests they might not have had the opportunity to go in the past, depending on age. Why do posters always want to erode the loyalty scheme pot.He clearly said “my boys”, which suggests they might not have had the opportunity to go in the past, depending on age. A better system would be a combination of loyalty points and a ballot.
Did they manage to get tickets for Swansea ,both Newcastle cup matches and Huddersfield when tickets were easily available to basically everyone who wanted one,or is it the usual can’t get a ticket for the swamp, klanfield etc.Totally agree pal, my boys have to pay inflated tout prices for away games, a ballot is surely fairer. A least then their a small chance of a ticket
Exactly, and for some of the bigger games it's been as many as 2,000 of the 3,000 allocation that have gone elsewhere. It's the club who need to be way more transparent about where away tickets go.Why do posters always want to erode the loyalty scheme pot.
They already have the 18/25 and juniors taken out of their allocation
I know I sound like a broken record on this but why do these same posters ,never challenge the club and ask where the other 1400 tickets out of a 3000 allocation go.
Add those 1400 tickets onto the loyalty points scheme and it would go down to members for most matches.
Also you could potentially put 400 of those tickets into a ballot to placate the people who want to go when it suits them.
Challenge the club not the supporters.
I’m not challenging supporters? We’re on an internet forum and I am giving an opinion. My view is the tickets being passed on to 3rd party organisations and other parties for tourists is a total disgrace, they should be going to actual blues. All 3,000 away tickets should be going to match going members. Why do posters always want to erode the loyalty scheme pot.

I agree, if we got 3,000, I’d do 2,000-2,500 loyalty points and 500-1,000 ballot for those who have attended general games to a level of regularity.
I just think some people deserve the chance to go to away games that might not always be able to afford it or have other commitments.
I don’t think we actually disagree.
Chelsea away is a high priority match. This time it went down to 16,000 points which is a very fair figure. Where were all those fans who needed tickets for the LC semi at Newcastle?Did they manage to get tickets for Swansea ,both Newcastle cup matches and Huddersfield when tickets were easily available to basically everyone who wanted one,or is it the usual can’t get a ticket for the swamp, klanfield etc.
Very few people can afford to attend every away match. I went to Brighton, Newcastle, but not Anfield. So what.Exactly, and for some of the bigger games it's been as many as 2,000 of the 3,000 allocation that have gone elsewhere. The only thing I will say is that I've noticed plenty of higher points individuals, who are picking and choosing their away games knowing they can't be caught up.
People don't like to hear this, but I can tell you for a fact that there are plenty of people who went to united, liverpool and leeds, but didn't bother with Brighton, Newcastle or Swansea.
