Seat Counters 25/26

Bollocks, the same old faces are right now, it's a shit system and it just serves the same minority. Are we an inclusive fair club and fanbase or selfish wankers? Easy, we're selfish wankers unfortunately

You said this last week , and I asked which of the away games you attended, when it was easy to get a ticket.
You did not answer.

The same minority. Do you mean those with high points because they have followed the club through thick and thin for decades. The issue is that away allocations are too small because some clubs take the piss. In recent seasons lots of away games have gone down to very low points, perhaps as many as ten games each season. You have not said how many points you have or how many away games you have been to.

Those selfish wankers earnt loyalty points paying 60 quid plus to watch city lose most weeks at places like Chelsea and Arsenal and often in a vastly reduced allocation because those desperate for tickets now didn’t entertain going

I’ve been going to games for 50 years and been a season ticket holder for many of those. I never miss a home game. I used to attend 10-12 always a season but these days it’s more like 3-4. I’ve got about 21k points which basically means I just miss out on the highest demand league games at United, Liverpool, Leeds and Burnley. I don’t care. I just accept that that is the way it is. I’m not in that top tier.

Ditto, first home game in March 1972, first away, United 1974, I sneaked in aged 11. On 22k points. not done aways, other than the odd couple a season for years, otherwise I’d have 35k points plus.
Do every home game, selective European, cup semis and finals and, like you, would miss out on the United, Liverpool and other high demand games.
It is what it is, done my bit, mid 60’s now, need to slow down, I’m still recovering from the Carabao cup final last week

Obviously those days ended in 2003 when they got rid of books and it was queuing not long before, and you got points for all the aways from 2001. The postals remained in 2003-4 before going to phone and in person only shortly after that.

These would all be tracked and you stated you were on all the schemes, been to loads of aways which counted to points (as they turned tracking into points) but were only on 8k points last year.

It doesn't add up.

My 24k points put me on the borderline for the rags and dippers away. I chose not to go anymore and my last game was the pre lockdown match at the swamp. I have good memories and am Delighted for Blues who’ve seen famous victories like this season at Anfield.

That said, I was at the Women’s Derby on Saturday and my day included friendly banter in the BB before and after the game. I enjoyed Saturday as much as most first team aways.

I don’t get the people who want us to be greatful because they’ve been to plenty of aways. Surely you enjoyed those away trips. I can give credit to Blues getting to Madrid away at short notice but away day Prem games, on half price tickets, are nothing special. I am glad more younger Blues are getting into these games in recent years.

The problem with the current points system is that we no longer give points for away games. That means those with high points can pick and choose games while others have no chance of catching up.
Those who attended loads of away games in the silly and very silly divisions get no recognition as individual attendances weren't recorded and it's similar for those who have attended away games since points were dropped.
I'm lucky in that while my attendance at almost every away game in the second and third tiers from 1996 to 2002 is ignored, I was regularly picking up points for away games from 2003 until the scheme was stopped.

There's only around 1200 left so it'll sell out from here
I think all regular seats will mate. I think it’s rare for all the corporate hospitality tickets to sell out (that I think are taken into account in Flapjack’s method. I might be wrong on that though).
