Seat Counters 25/26

Wellcome back, Seat Counting fans, this is the day when things get interesting. Around 4000 tickets left to sell to season card holders with less than 8000 points. So many things to play out. Will new criteria for members be announced beofre the day is out? Will a further allocation be added? Are we going to see random cheaper seats pop up when we least expect it? Could the fabled cup final algorithm finally make a comeback? Will the £285 block become available?

Anything could happen today. This is crunch time, the home straight, when nerves get shredded as people await their fate, and the hourglass empties as seats run out. Watch this space, fans, your Seat Counters are on it for you. You'll get queue counting, analysis, opinions, statistics...everything you should need.
And we will fight forevermore because of seat-counting day.

All but the middle tier sells out today.

L1: 289
L2: 172
L5: 2,809

Total Left: 3,270

About 800 sold that window.

Based on that I think it should be similar for the 1pm window, leaving about 2000 - 2,500 for all ST Holders at 4pm.

Imo, it's very unlikely that there will be any left after 4pm.

Well I'm going to disagree with you on that analysis. I'm going to predict a thousand or so will be left by the end of the day. I suspect further ticket "Drops" from City on the way too.

I certainly agree we could see more tickets from City, I'm eagerly awaiting these FA returns!

I know it's not the main event, but I'm absolutley baffled by these £255 seats. I can see a repeat of last year coming, where we have 1,000 of them to sell a week before the game!

That must be from the 1894 allocation, I'm surprised at that
Take up looks poor but it was actually oversubscribed. What's happened is that there have been loads of technical issues with the 1894 allocation. For a lot of fans who were signed up to that section, the tickets haven't shown for them when they've qualified. I qualified in the first window but it was greyed out for me. Eventually, I was able to get mine a couple of hours later but other fans understandably didn't want to risk waiting so bought seats nearby instead. With that in mind, I think City have taken some seats back to put on sale to the wider fanbase.

I cannot understand why they would grey them out, unless they are being held back in case of no demand. It's just odd. Unless the whole lot are being sold as part of a corporate trip from City. I don't even know if they do that.
