Seat Counters 25/26

Really disappointed in these prices
I would be surprised if the club sold out on Friday, regardless of the prices, as usually, at some point members and ST holders can buy additional tickets. Perhaps that is why they have given themselves up to next week to sort matters out.
I might need an additional ticket. Hopefully it is made clear soon.

If they're not sensible with prices this year, it'll be my last year on the scheme.

Looking forward to them having 62k seats to sell for Galatasaray in January. If current form continues we might be struggling for double digits at that point!
That should be a huge wake up call for those running the season ticket schemes as there will be Gala fans and empty seats everywhere.

For such a well run club our ticketing strategy is shocking.

When we won the treble and became the hot ticket in town that was the chance to get the next generation of blues into the ground, but instead they overcharged to attract tourists and make a quick few quid. They're going to feel the repercussions of that decision this season.

14,176 showing for Napoli. A few more will sell in tomorrows window, but I can't see it being more than a few thousand. More will sell over the next few weeks however, I wouldn't be surprised if a significant number fail to sell

When is the window for the thousands of lapsed Blues who would love to attend but can't get tickets?

Maybe they will get sold cut priced tickets by the diehards who go on holiday in the middle of September!
Two of us fall into that category and, if only the transfer system wasn’t an absolute shambles, we would be doing so.
As it stands, looks like we’ll just swallow the cost and there’ll be 2 more empty seats, front row of the East Stand. It’s nonsensical at best, absolute incompetence at worst.

This will be an interesting test of the club's ridiculous ticket transfer policy if the first CL game fails to sell. Will they suddenly be begging us to buy extras like last season to send to mates?
If you look back through the years the first CL Home game very rarely sells out and can be poorly attended. Throw that into the mix, alongside the clubs ridiculous ticketing policy with its myriad of rules/regulations, and Id wager theyll be a few empty seats for this one.

Maybe we should offer cheap Galatasaray tickets to people with a Leeds postcode?

I’m sure a section of Leeds United fans would love to empty the Etihad of any away fans in the home end.

We won't... the construction of the expanded North Stand is scheduled to last until January. After that's finished, City will have to do a number of test events as part of the licencing conditions. In all likelihood, we probably won't see tickets on sale across the entire expanded North Stand until March/April.

(I get your point though, sorry to be pedantic).

First UCL game of the season always sells badly. It was the same with Inter last year. Hopefully Kev coming back encourages more people to make the effort and go.

Apologies, I had read it as "Stand to be open by January"

Either way, there's going to come and point when we've got 8,000 extra seats to sell for these unattractive fixtures. Hopefully the club thinks about it's local fanbase when this time comes
