Free tickets for schools all over the country7097 left for napoli

Maybe City should send 50 tickets up to the private school who had their tickets refunded for the Newcastle v Barca game that was all over the press?Free tickets for schools all over the country
Except greater Manchester ;)Free tickets for schools all over the country
It won't come close to selling out. The first game never does.I thought Napoli would sell out. I appreciate it's a Thursday which isn't traditional for us now we're massive, but probably better for taking kids as it's only Friday to power through after a late night. Maybe it still will, but goes to show the strange situation we've got at City where even attractive pricing doesn't necessarily mean tickets sell out quickly.
The FA Cup third round always sells well when we're at home and is a great family day generally. But it's possibly the travel time and all that chaos which makes parents in particular decide the midweek games are too much.
Game will finish around 10pm so it's midnight before you're home considering how long it takes to get away afterwards.
To be fair fa cup games are at the weekend and tickets are usually a lot cheaper. I don’t think the ticket situation has helped, as it’s becoming increasingly difficult to buy more than one ticket. Also your casual fan who might attend probably is less likely to bother buying a membership.I thought Napoli would sell out. I think that first CL group game has always been an issue for one reason or another. Like it or not, loads of season ticket holders swerve the group games so it's left to members to take up a lot of the slack. We get a lot of international football fans turning up at our CL games and I'm guessing some of these will be students at Uni but I don't think the new term has started yet so that in itself will make a dent in sales.I thought Napoli would sell out. Was just going to post the same.I think that first CL group game has always been an issue for one reason or another. Perhaps the club will prioritise matchday members who bought group games over missing season ticket holders when it comes to the later games. It seems only fair but they probably won’t.I think that first CL group game has always been an issue for one reason or another. And ease of buying tickets, but some purchase history required so it isn't full of away fans.Think the pricing will have to be looked at again when new tier opens.
Interestingly I was made aware yesterday that a High School up here (just outside of Glasgow) are taking 45 tickets and students down for the game this Thursday. All through a third party, same as the Newcastle case that caught the eye of the press.Except greater Manchester ;)

No stadium tours on match day so they are going to Klanfield to view that dump first then back over for the match.
