Seat Counters 25/26

I have been going for 62 years, a Season ticket for 40 yrs, until I started spending the worse of the Winter in Spain.
I still attend at least half the games, I went to 10 away games last season, and will do the same this Season.

I live 65 miles from the ground. And I never moan about getting away from the ground , or the cost of every game I attend.

I think you have just shot the wrong guy.
But did you start off as a season ticket holder. I didn't. I went to a few games a season and it grew from there.

Yes there's absolutely no point in putting yourself through the pain again. Such defeats are best erased from the memory as soon as possible.
Even the 2012 title winning game is not worth watching again except for the last five minutes. I watched the whole game once again and regretted it. Let's be honest it was a horrible frustrating and torturous game until Dzeko and Aguero scored.
I spent the first half of that game wondering whether it was actually City out there on the pitch and most of the second half with my head in my hands.

The Dzeko goal made matters worse until all hell broke loose and I thought I was actually dreaming what had happened.

Planning to go to Fulham away on Tuesday 2nd December 19.30 kick off

City’s allocation 2,701 tickets

I only have a paid up Matchday Citizens membership :0(

Do you think?

Tickets via the Club, will get down to my level??
Same boat and same answer Tim gave tbh.

I have got tickets in the past from their ‘neutral’/tourist section but don’t think that still happens.
Had a look on their website last night re home section tickets and it looks like £100 a pop for a ticket, plus paying to become a member, and then the potential hurdle of a record of previous attendance - which I have, but about 5 years ago!

Remember back in the day you could do all the away games with your mates, pay on the gate no probs.

Wouldn't touch a CL game with a barge pole
51000, thousands of tourists, Dortmund fans all over, half empty at kick off.
I go to watch City, I don’t care who we are playing, not bothered what competition it is, I just want to watch my team no matter who the opposition is, whether Madrid or Mansfield.

Shots fired!
That feels true as a real issue (not targeted at any individual).

Some posters seem to get giddy on the thought of away fans in the home stands, although there were hardly any for Napoli. They follow in with criticisms of the Club, who are mainly interested in making money.

If these concerned posters are so concerned for fellow fans then they should use their seats for Dortmund and Galatassary at home if they can afford to go / don’t have other big commitments.Get behind the lads and make the Etihad a fortress, where any lurking away fans are much less likely to take liberties.

The car park we were in was nearly empty so made for a quick getaway so, long live the early leavers, I say.

I was dropped off in Prestwich less than 50 minutes after the game ended and I always wait until the players are heading down the tunnel and have a 3/4 mile walk to the car park.
I don't wait that long, just until the players are waving at the fans, and I'm also back in Prestwich about 45-50 minutes after the final whistle. We park a similar distance from the ground and the trick is to use loads of back streets after the game.

I have been travelling mainly by public transport since the car parks increased in price, as it means I can have a few pints, but it really does tempt me back into the car when I am home in an hour versus two via tram. It’s cheaper too even if just two people.

Yeah there are definitely trade-offs cost-wise individually vs a group of you when it comes to the decision on driving or using a uber or using public transport aren’t there.

Edit. I’m assuming in your case you travel incommunicado though.

We use a car park off Bradford Road and prices haven't increased too much over the five or six years we've used it.
