Do they print the passport number on the Madrid ticket or just the name?
Have we played Galatasary before? Trying to cast my mind back but can't recall playing themMaybe, on the basis that you can get into Old Trafford if you've bought a ready meal from McDonald's.
Galatasaray will be a large presence in our ends if the "real fans" on here don't go to the game. Some posters claimed the home stands would be full of Napoli and Dortmund fans for the respective games but that didn't materialise. Exaggerations about away fans in the home have contributed to the ticket transfer restrictions, most fans dislike.
The ticket touts / agencies alone don't get enough tickets to replicate Gala,s following at the swamp.
Away CL fans often don’t stand one to a space. They all crowd in together at the front of each tier where it’s safe standing in SSL0 and SSL2.I am sure that's true but it looked like there were a lot of empty seats in the Dortmund end.
At least the corporate areas will be full then.Gala have a huge fanbase who live in NW England. They will be everywhere. But we have no bad history with them so hopefully no problems.
When I went two seasons ago City just wrote your name on the ticket in pen, no passport number. The police and stewards are very strict, if the written name on the ticket doesn’t match your passport, you aren’t getting in.Do they print the passport number on the Madrid ticket or just the name?
I sit in block 111 formally 211 and to my left there was atleast 100 away fans scattered about. To be fair they behaved themselves even when they scored.Maybe, on the basis that you can get into Old Trafford if you've bought a ready meal from McDonald's.

Correction to my right not left.I sit in block 111 formally 211 and to my left there was atleast 100 away fans scattered about. To be fair they behaved themselves even when they scored.
I had a Quick Look and I couldn’t find a game. I can’t remember one but it would be strange if we’ve never played them.Have we played Galatasary before? Trying to cast my mind back but can't recall playing them
German fans tend to go closest to the away following. I’m in 109 (formally 209) and didn’t see any. There didn’t seem to be any in the 93:20 Bar either.I sit in block 111 formally 211 and to my left there was atleast 100 away fans scattered about. I was in 005 and if there were any Dortmund fans there then they were keeping a very low profile.I sit in block 111 formally 211 and to my left there was atleast 100 away fans scattered about. To be fair they behaved themselves even when they scored.
Not in a competitive game and there's no mention of them in Dave Wallace's book Us and Them which came out about 15 years ago.Have we played Galatasary before? Trying to cast my mind back but can't recall playing them
Not too bad as the game is still 17 days away. I wonder what the take-up rate is at other PL teams who play in the CL regularly.Count for Bayer Leverkusen at 8.30pm:
Level 3: 5,291
Level 2: 2,291
Level 1: 1,894
Total: 9,476 left
