Seat Counters 25/26

Maybe, on the basis that you can get into Old Trafford if you've bought a ready meal from McDonald's.

Galatasaray will be a large presence in our ends if the "real fans" on here don't go to the game. Some posters claimed the home stands would be full of Napoli and Dortmund fans for the respective games but that didn't materialise. Exaggerations about away fans in the home have contributed to the ticket transfer restrictions, most fans dislike.

The ticket touts / agencies alone don't get enough tickets to replicate Gala,s following at the swamp.
Have we played Galatasary before? Trying to cast my mind back but can't recall playing them

I am sure that's true but it looked like there were a lot of empty seats in the Dortmund end.
Away CL fans often don’t stand one to a space. They all crowd in together at the front of each tier where it’s safe standing in SSL0 and SSL2.

From where I was sat on the front row of SSL2, looking down below be it looked like our section of SSL0 was sparsely populated (even though it wasn’t) and it looked like the Dortmund section of SSL0 was absolutely packed with the way they all packed in low down.

They probably stand 1.5 people to every space which leave a empty spaces in the back and side areas of their section.

Do they print the passport number on the Madrid ticket or just the name?
When I went two seasons ago City just wrote your name on the ticket in pen, no passport number. The police and stewards are very strict, if the written name on the ticket doesn’t match your passport, you aren’t getting in.

I sit in block 111 formally 211 and to my left there was atleast 100 away fans scattered about. To be fair they behaved themselves even when they scored.

German fans tend to go closest to the away following. I’m in 109 (formally 209) and didn’t see any. There didn’t seem to be any in the 93:20 Bar either.

I spotted some people in half and half scarves outside who might have been Dortmund fans or just neutrals. I reckon all the Germans in our stands could have fitted in the away end if they had they been given a 3k allocation.

My wider point is that if people can get to the Gala game and consider themselves diehard Blues, then they will be there cheering on the lads and limiting the away fans to mainly corporate and tout’s tickets.

The scaremongers (maybe they call themselves legacy fans) will be sat at home, waiting to blame the club for away fans in our stands.

I was in 005 and if there were any Dortmund fans there then they were keeping a very low profile.
