Seat Counters 25/26

I really doubt they buy the tickets. City will sell through them and the agency will charge a commission. The tickets will be available through City or the agency until sold.
Look pal let's agree to disagree, I think city thought there were literally thousands of tourists ready and waiting to buy,and it's just not the case ,my personal opinion the club has tried to run b4 it can walk (the expansions ) it saw the ground full all the time at 48k,,so they thought we will get 55k now 62k soon easily and they won't, unless they price it right.
We are constantly told that the revenue from match day tickets don't mean alot in the grand scheme of things , we'll they could of fooled me.
The club are missing a trick here said it loads of times ,make it affordable to local family's all the time not just today, get your support to grow .
If that means giving kids at schools in
the area 2 or 3k tickets free well I for 1 am all for it , grip em young grip em for life

The club were charging a really low price for today's game. It sold out. There were loads of kids there. Everybody who went had a great time. The club did the right thing but there were a lot of people who bought tickets that didn't go. For whatever reason.

As I said I agree there probs was a few singles 2s and maybe even 3s ,,,I know your going say this is an excuse but we are in mid Jan and it's game after game at the mo ,,even if your ticket is free your still.gping to spend money through the day and it's simply money alot of folk ain't got, including me to be honest at this mo lol(but that's my fault),I just wish city would do more forward thinking about tickets, they just seem completely obsessed by trying to chase what simply ain't there yet

Someone fcked up at the ticket office. There’s no way that game was sold out. There was rows upon rows of empty seats in the north stand and elsewhere

Posters might say it’s sold out - as tickets sold, but there is no way that many people, all in the same sections decided not to go.

I think a lot of people have been prevented from attending today, because of the clubs policies
Didn't see rows of empties but plenty empty dotted around.

Just reading these threads tonight and the comments from people with tickets who didn't go!!!

All those families today who don't normally go but were there today decided to buy a ticket for that person "who couldn't be there" how thoughtful!

Obviously people on the cup scheme who want Dibs on a Final ticket should we get there.
I don't like this at all tbh.

It could be tickets sold to school somewhere the weather has been shit.

I had a ticket today, but didn't go, the reason was the train ticket price was nearly £70 return (with a FOC railcard), I didn't book earlier because of other uncertainties.
It wasn’t just those rows those. It was all around the ground. Some rows and seats dotted about.

When I was buying tickets I could only get them in tier 3 of the Colin bell stand at the time. Level 1 wasn’t available, but clearly there were quite a lot of free seats.

Well the available tickets were yes ,,what about the rows ,,,they must of been with the ticket agency's that is the only explanation has to be
There will have been the odd few seats empty where people cba that's true but not fking rows
Exactly!

There was rows of empty seats particularly in the north stand. That’s not just people deciding to not attend. There’s just too many seats together for that to be true.

Lots of kids and families missed out today and something is off with our ticketing system.

There were loads and loads of empty rows mate which were visible on the stream I was watching. These aren’t a few fans who cba. Not having a pop btw. I couldn’t make it today due to an injury which has meant I haven’t been able to go for the last month or so. This looks like a 3rd party ticketing issue.

I was supposed to be working today but my job got cancelled and was told yesterday so I tried to buy 3 tickets yesterday. As a season card holder I thought it would be a simple task but the website said it was sold out then I see today there were literally 100s of empty seats .
After the the Wednesday night debacle of of my mates trying to get tickets transferred this absolutely lost all my faith in the way our club is dealing with the ticket situation.

I don't know, I'm on the cup scheme so get one anyway, so don't ever go on the site to buy them, and as I wasn't there I could only see what looked like very few seats to me on TV.

I phoned the club yesterday and told them I couldn't go, and offered them my ticket to sell, but they can't do that, and if they take the ticket back, you get scrubbed from the cup scheme.

My block was completely full but I did see a few empty seats in the Family Stand. I don't know why that would be.

Plenty of trains back to Warrington after 22:00, TPE from Piccadilly or Oxford Road. Northern from Oxford Road with plenty of trains to jump on from Piccadllly to Oxford Road if needed.

The best site to track trains is "Realtimetrains"

You can see if any train is actually running and where it is.

For example, I note a TPE service was running a little late last Wednesday.

It may have been a struggle to catch it if it was on time, but possible with the delay.

Depending on your physicality, or anyone else for that matter. The walk from the city centre (Piccadilly area) is a piece of piss, safe, variable options including the canal which is very pleasant.

I don't understand why able bodied people bother with the Tram from the city centre, different if you've travelled on it from further but joining a tram in the city centre, no chance.

Tried it a couple of times, nightmare. By the time you have waited and got on you can be at the ground. Add in the overcrowding breathing in god knows what.

I have never attempted to get a Tram back to Town after the match, even when had a ticket. Complete waste of time, leave it for those that need it.

The walk using the canal brings you out near Piccadilly and the decent Pubs bars etc. The Piccadilly Tap on station aproach is a great carrot to head for if walking.
I look forward to the walk, it’s a chilled walk along the canal and I either get a cheeky couple of cans or nip into one of the bars en route .

Hard to see everywhere from SS0, but the family stand has a huge problem imo.

Always gaps in there yet people mention how hard it is to get tickets / Season tickets in that stand.

Really enjoyed today — reminded me of taking my son for the first time, aged 4. He’s now 18 with 12k points. Miles better than Champions League nights, which are full of tourists who will fleetingly watch City, spend a lot that night, but bring nothing long-term and have zero real affinity with the club

There was a row of at least ten empty seats about a dozen rows back in the north stand lower, towards the east stand. There were other groups of more than half a dozen empty seats elsewhere. Plus loads of empties in CB2 (or CB1 in new money).

It was great today. Lots of families and kids. A decent atmosphere and less people left early. The ground was pretty much full apart from some no shows which happens at all grounds in the winter, just as it has always done. Oh and City scored ten.

I sit in block 111 and there was atleast 40 seats empty with several rows of 4 or more. That not likely to be down to fans who purchased tickets and couldn't be arsed attending.
You could see loads of empty seats in rows of more than 4 all around the stadium.

For the fan or family that want to come to the odd game I think it's such an effort for the individual to purchase that said ticket, thus putting people off. Searching around websites they may not be formilar with puts people off. I think City did get the prices right yesterday,At Spurs yesterday the cheapest ticket was £30 adult or child, and according to a friend who went there were also lots of empty seats. For a local who can prove that they have a Greater Manchester postcode or schools that bring kids to games perhaps ought to offer it to extended family members also(if that not done already), mums, dads, uncles, Aunt's etc. More goodwill for the local community can only yield a positive response.

There were a number of Blues on here giving away tickets for yesterday. In my own supporters Club, I managed to get half a dozen tickets from members and make sure these tickets were used by other Blues.

Maybe some fans couldn’t buy tickets but I don’t think it’s all down to the Club that we’ve still got points whoring where some people are on the cup schemes just to get the ticket points.
