Do you think Barca & Real Madrid care about a few empty seats ? In your world we never expand, we never strive for more, just muddle along...a bit like you really.

There's going to be a lot of embarrassing attendances for the remainder of this season, as it peters out, I feel.
Peters out??! We are 2nd in the table, in a League Cup Semi-Final, in the 4th Round of the FA Cup and in the automatic spots for the Last 16 in the Champions League...

Yes, but you wouldn't think it listening to some of our fans.
Just wait and see the amount of empty seats at Wolves and Galatasaray then....

Galatasaray is an extra expense for fans for essentially a final group game - yes it is important but Wolves and Newcastle in the League Cup are far more important matches. For Wolves - there are about 300 tickets up for sale on exchange

Saying 61.000 is too big, it will be for some games, it won't be for others, so what do we do ? Stay as we are, stop continue growing ?
Our owners are looking at the next 20/30 years, not the next 12 months.
Too big to consistently fill, is what I meant. We’ll fill it maybe 10 times a season, there will be probably 55,000 average in the premier league and midweek cup games will be 10,000+ empty seats.

At the moment we’re looking at bleak sales for Newcastle and Galatasary, that’s without another 8,000/9,000 seats.

I’m all for moving forward but we’re either going to have charge similar to what Stockport County do (£26 on average) or put up with thousands of empty seats for most games.

If they do charge cheaper then great.

Yes but you said it will be too big, which is nonsense.

We can't even sell out 53,000 on a regular basis, never mind 62,000.

Newcastle is 2 weeks away and there are still circa 12,000 tickets left for sale.(WirralB8 count)

Season ticket holders can buy 4 tickets each for the match.

If the match was this time next season, there would be 20,000 tickets left for sale. Let that sink in muddle brain.

As for Madrid and Barcelona, I couldn't give a fuck about either of them and their attendances.

Nevermind cheaper seats, how about access to the things. Fulham at home and games like that should be available without memberships, and would be an easy way of getting more people with supporter numbers, I see online people asking for tickets and no way of getting them, it's beyond stupid

Embarrassing for who?

As fans we should never be embarrassed about how many fans do/don't attend a game. Frustrated with the club for how difficult they make it for people to buy or transfer a ticket, absolutely. But I've never walked away from the Etihad embarrassed about how many people were/weren't sat around me.

As for the club? They don't give a shit. That much is obvious.

Exactly.

Instead of making it easier to buy and to transfer tickets, the club have made it harder with more rules and restrictions.

There are plenty of posts on this thread and on other threads where seats have remained empty because fans can't transfer their tickets or buy tickets for more than one person, whilst the club palm tickets off to their ticket touting partners in the hope of making more money, with tickets not selling on plenty of occasions.

Why have we priced the game against Newcastle more than what they charged, if it was 20 quid all over at SJP, why are we way more expensive, it's like we are finding ways to embarrass ourselves
Because the club still think we're the biggest draw in Europe, with tourists absolutely desperate to come and see us play. They're on a complete different planet to the rest of us.
