Seat Counters 25/26

People are skint, attending matches are low priority
I've got this theory that once the novelty wears off at Everton's new stadium, and the empty seats start appearing for the less attractive fixtures (as they did at ours in 2004-05) they'll get far more sympathy than City or West Ham, or even Brighton.

Poverty shaming is only offensive if it's aimed at Merseyside.

The only reply I can give to that is.. Fuck off Danny!

City making new £2000+ seats available on L1 of the expanded North stand, but we currently can’t shift £30 tickets for the semi-final of the Carabao Cup with City leading 2-0 from the first leg.

Do you think the people buying the £2000+ seats will bother turning up for the Carabao Cup games? It doesn’t matter if they don’t turn up for the Carabo Cup games as the money has already been banked upfront by the club. What’s another empty seat amongst 62,000 seats.

You're obviously more confident than me when it comes to football predictions, but then again, I'm not even confident that we'll beat Galatasaray

Let's hope that we're both wrong, because otherwise that's another home game that we don't need.
Looks like we are in a bit of trouble now!

I’ll come back and admit I was wrong if I am, but I’m gonna go balls out and say they’re never shifting those in any sort of numbers. The club are delusional.
Ticket agencies will buy them if no one else does.

This 'all inclusive' season ticket covering all competitions lark is a tad raggish for my liking. I wonder if they're going to extend it across all season tickets for next season rather than have cup schemes...?

I just did a rough figure and got if city played 19 league 6 champions league 2 fa cup 2 league cup it would be around 80 notes with 29 drinks off

I wouldn't say that. I think a win will be enough. Let's see how tonight's games go.
Tonight’s results went badly for us. So only PSG v Newcastle next week means only one of those will drop points , so we will need a win and a decent goal difference to get us into the top 8. Last night and Leverkusen might cost us dearly.

If they draw both drop points and if we win we go over both of them

PSG V Newcastle could draw.

We can't even sell out 53,000 on a regular basis, never mind 62,000.

Newcastle is 2 weeks away and there are still circa 12,000 tickets left for sale.(WirralB8 count)

Season ticket holders can buy 4 tickets each for the match.

If the match was this time next season, there would be 20,000 tickets left for sale. Let that sink in muddle brain.

As for Madrid and Barcelona, I couldn't give a fuck about either of them and their attendances.

We'll shift loads when fans get paid. For a lot of people it'll be 5 weeks since last payday in December.

We've had an eye-watering 5 home games in 3 different competitions since the turn of the year. It's just not sustainable post Xmas.

Why don't people get this?

Bear in mind that the early FA and League cup games (and possibly some CL games) would usually be reduced prices. There's also the possibility of all domestic cup games being away!

It ain't a cheap day out!

Embarrassing for who?

As fans we should never be embarrassed about how many fans do/don't attend a game. Frustrated with the club for how difficult they make it for people to buy or transfer a ticket, absolutely. But I've never walked away from the Etihad embarrassed about how many people were/weren't sat around me.

As for the club? They don't give a shit. That much is obvious.
Bluemc: summed things up perfectly.
Who gives a F-CK.
Most of us in here have been following City long before we moved to the Etihad.
If getting the most customers to fill up your stadium brought you silverware.
Then I could understand it. CTID
