Seat Counters 25/26

As long as we win who cares. We might have a better atmosphere with 25k diehards in the ground.
I think it’s fair to care a bit, about the ground having thousands of empty seats. One of the most successful periods ever - the ground should be full or selling out for games like this.

Something is seriously off and in my view a major disconnection between our fans and the club.

We could really do with a proper supporters trust as we currently have no voice

It’s been cold and wet and a lot of our fans aren’t as passionate as they once were. There are lots of transport and parking issues too and lots of us are FOCs or getting there. Not great but that’s where we are.

As for you being worried about empty seats. You don’t want tickets to be filled by fans buying cheaper tickets on fave value pages. I know you wanted all the cheaper tickets coming from City direct. Fair dos but that wasn’t going to happen.

Going to be interesting to see how Soriano manages to fill all the corporate area`s next season the way we are playing .

When have I said I don’t want tickets being filled by fans buying from face value pages?
I’m happy for fans to gets tickets that way. I just think if the club made tickets affordable, you wouldn’t need to rely on a dodgy Facebook reseller.

The handful of main people on FB and X are highly respected by Blues who they have helped. Blues will have been helped with hundreds of thousands of tickets at or below FV. You might no like what they do but it's disrespectful to make out that these top Blues are chancers or touts.

I just don’t get what’s happened to are home support, atmosphere….fuck me even are usually decent away support were shite today at the spuds, yes I get the prices etc, cost of living, multiple home games in a row……I’m starting to think this 115 shite has knocked the heart out of the City fans….is it taking its toll on some of the plastics we’ve gathered since the takeover, they just don’t seem to be bothered as much as other successful clubs plastics….
I’m not talking about our core loyal city fans BTW who’ve done the hard miles.
I’ve no problem with the club trying to attract new fans etc
Makes me wonder some times, also look at the MSM it’s like they’ve IGNORING us……simply because they can.
This 115 shite as done possibly unrepairable damage….

We’ll be absolutely drowned out by the Newcastle fans.
Suppose it depends on how the match goes. If Newcastle take the lead and get a foothold in the game then yes, I totally agree. But if they don’t and it’s a comfortable night for us then it could be a different story. I thought the atmosphere was as good as could be expected against Galatasaray and that was with 10,000 or so unsold tickets. Which proves that sometimes less is more. Just like last season’s FA Cup semi-final where our fans outsung the Forest fans despite having about 8000 less fans in the ground

I think we’ve got a huge hangover from all the success. We’ve all witnessed everything we could possibly want to achieve and now we’ve fallen off a bit, apathy has struck.

Boring football and not successful will see all the newcomers depart just as quick as the arrived. The club naively thought they’d stick around forever. They made it hard or uncomfortable for regular supporters to go who are now out of the habit

Thinking about this overnight while coughing and spluttering....

The majority of fans dropping off are seemingly towards the FOC area and the whole matchday/night package needs considering.

Back when we were young the chances are for home games we'd all live quite locally, quieter roads or just walk...I've as a youngster walked from MR to Ashton!!!

We'd all do loads of aways without a care in the world (6 to a car, packed on a train which would be running after the match, a dive of a coach, run the gautlet for aggro etc.

Nowadays, getting to the game is a pain I know some others like myself have moved away for Manchester and have created our problem but even local fans who will be starting to creak, will end up spending forever getting away from the ground & home.

If tickets were free there'd be a fair chunk who'd not take up an evening game with work commitments and such.

What the club need to do is get into the 18-25 lads & lasses, this was always the age group that would walk through fire to get to games, the problem is this bracket has been neglected even more than us 'legacy mob'.

…Will they?
We just about sold out the FA Cup final last May. Given the continuing apathy since that time, coupled with the League Cup being the poorer relation to the FA Cup, I think we'd struggle to sell out if we got to the final.
