Seat Counters 25/26

Managed to miss someone off our supporters club request so bought 1 near the front of 542 for £41. Can’t really argue with that.
The pricing is good in Level 5. I think some of the Level 1 seats are overpriced though - £97 for safe standing compared to £41 for safe standing upstairs

Roughly how many do we reckon are in the 8 blocks still to go on sale?
I'd have a guess at just under 1,000 per block maybe? Also remember that block 528 is mostly segregation and split with arsenal so there'll be hardly any seats in there.

Based on this I'd guess maybe 6,000-7,000?

absolute small time not opening all the sections, people want to choose where they sit, or are they hoping to send the tickets to arsenal

Could it be a cynical point of view, the club knows these are the most loyal fans (follow us home and away) so they would be more willing to maybe buy expensive tickets. Give them less options force them to take £97 etc just an idea wouldn’t surprise me.

If they sell more at this price makes it easier to sell the cheaper ones in the next windows. Don’t agree and they should all be on sale just an idea.

Just want to thank all the expert seat counters in advance as this monumental exercise gets underway. The hard work is much appreciated especially as the club invariably moves the goalposts a little for each new cup final and previously unexpected wrinkles enter the process.
Look forward to monitoring the results over the coming week or two.

I doubt it mate. Most die hards would have been on the website at 10am. Also, the view of the “seat counters” were that tickets needed to be sold fast (some suggesting 2 per Cup scheme member) if we are to shift our full allocation.

So I wonder when we’ll get the USUAL msm shite obligatory post about how Arsenal have sold all there full allocation whilst City haven’t.

You KNOW it’s coming

Matty, above, has given a decent possible explanation I think, about ensuring supporters lower down the priority list get a chance to buy in a range of seating areas.
I'm not sure I buy this to be honest mate.

They've only ever done this for games where they think there'll be less demand. Every FA cup final, they've put all the blocks on sale from the start.

Have we really sold 14k already???
Looks like it. However, within that figure you need to factor in the OSC allocation which I believe is 20% so that would be approx 6500 tickets. Then there's the tickets set aside for players, management, directors, club employees, etc. In addition to that, there's also the allocation for those in hospitality. Add all that together and I reckon there were already 10,000 or so tickets accounted for before the first sales window opened up at 10am this morning
