Seat Counters 25/26

Could someone put on the latest seat map of Wembley to show what's left,I can't log on till tomorrow with only being a member.

They are saying that. You would have thought that if the issue of away fans in the home end was that important, then all sales would require City memberships.
I think most of the Gala fans in the home ends were North West based and have attended City matches before. I spoke to one today (who lives in Preston) and he went with three Turkish pals. They also follow City and attend perhaps six times a year. He said they kept their heads down and had no problems. The City fans they met were ok with them and it all passed off peacefully. He stressed that City are liked by most Gala fans because we behaved well in Istanbul with the locals. They also like Gundo and Sane. Apparently in the next round they could face Liverpool or Spurs. He said there would be no problems with Spurs but they hated Liverpool fans (and also United as a club). I know it's only one person but it sounds plausible to me.

From 526-533 there is seating available as well as safe standing.

From 548- the halfway line seating is available. All the rest in the upper is safe standing options.
Roughly 6.9 k seats

Club wemb -899 seats from 231 -237

Lower tier everything from block 129 to 123 has multiple seats. The rest of the lower is pretty much sold out even though not greyed out.
Make it about 1350 in the Lower.

9.2k left all in roughly. Don’t think they’ll have many more to find. They usually add those seats added now after it’s gone to members.

Did the club not see the amount of Gala fans in the home ends and their mobile phone lights waving all over the Etihad. It’s like of those government reports that absolves ministers and the government of any wrong doing.
To be fair, everyone in my block who did that on that night was a City fan child or teenager who just joined in with it all.

The Gala fans next to me were from Germany. We got on fine.

I’m glad that some of us on here and 1894 and City Matters raised security concerns in the build up to the game and the match passed off OK.

Great backing for Gala from the South Stand and the Gala fans in our ends were respectful.

I worked with a Turkish fella who loves football but never got on with the machismo of Turkish football culture. Goes to City women all the time.

For Your Information: Galatasaray Post Match Overview from City Matters minutes.

"The Club provided a detailed overview of the ticketing, safety and operational approach for the UEFA Champions League fixture against Galatasaray, which was classified as high-risk following consultation with Greater Manchester Police, UEFA and other partners. Stringent ticketing criteria were implemented across general admission, hospitality and official resellers to minimise the risk of away supporters in home areas, with safety prioritised over ticket sales. Post match, the Club investigated where away fans in home areas sourced their tickets. 85% were found to have come from qualifying Cityzens Matchday Members, 12% from Season Ticket Members and 3% from UEFA’s allocation. On closer investigation, of these source accounts, the Club was able to identify and suspend 253 accounts for misuse of the tickets purchased. Additional measures included ID-based ticket collection, heightened ticketing criteria and enhanced communications to ticket buyers regarding responsibility for ticket use. While these measures reduced the pool of eligible buyers, the Club emphasised that fan safety remained the top priority. Matchday operations included increased police and steward presence and dedicated quick response teams. All incidents were managed in line with agreed protocols with impacts minimised where possible.

As well as outlining the positive steps taken to reduce the risk of away fans in home areas, and the way the Club dealt with those that managed to access these areas, the Club highlighted that misconceptions have influenced opinions. The Club showed a number of social media posts where fans were accused of being away supporters simply because of their appearance or religion. City Matters representatives thanked the Club for its clear focus on fan safety and for reinforcing the importance of ensuring all supporters and staff feel safe, welcome, and respected at matches."
Is the club trying to say that none of the away fans in the home end had bought tickets from the club assigned 3rd party websites

Anyone know if the OSC branches have had theirs sent out yet? Branches apply against named members - but its only when these individuals get allocated specific seats that they can buy the tickets: some reserved seats currently showing as unavailable are not actually sold and may become available yet

i dont think they will fly off the shelves tomorrow, there will be a few thousand left for anyone to pick up extras on friday. Hope im wrong
For the forest semi final a total of 11,000 tickets sold across the Matchday Member windows, before anyone had a chance to buy extras.

Given that theres been significantly more demand for this game so far and theres only about 9,000 left, I don't see a world where this doesn't sell out at 1pm tomorrow (Apart from the expensive level 2 seats and any potential returns including an extended allocation )

Will also depend on if they add extras, the Villa game in 2020 had a 3k bigger allocation.
