Seat Counters 25/26

From 526-533 there is seating available as well as safe standing.

From 548- the halfway line seating is available. All the rest in the upper is safe standing options.
Roughly 6.9 k seats

Club wemb -899 seats from 231 -237

Lower tier everything from block 129 to 123 has multiple seats. The rest of the lower is pretty much sold out even though not greyed out.
Make it about 1350 in the Lower.

9.2k left all in roughly. Don’t think they’ll have many more to find. They usually add those seats added now after it’s gone to members.
There might be some FA returns to add later. They come quite late in the day along with various club/corporate returns.

Unless the algorithm has been fucking with us all along it looks like we’ve sold about 22,500 tickets to 37,000 season tickets holders and presumably about 2/3000 corporate and club connected people will have had some of that 22,500 too.

I see clusters of seats have been added lower down in 550 and 551, they always do this the b*stards, release better seats after purchase.

For the forest semi final a total of 11,000 tickets sold across the Matchday Member windows, before anyone had a chance to buy extras.

Given that theres been significantly more demand for this game so far and theres only about 9,000 left, I don't see a world where this doesn't sell out at 1pm tomorrow (Apart from the expensive level 2 seats and any potential returns including an extended allocation )

This thing with seat counting is you just never know how many the club held back for Supporters Clubs.

There could be a few added along the way.

The Gala fans next to me were from Germany. We got on fine.

I’m glad that some of us on here and 1894 and City Matters raised security concerns in the build up to the game and the match passed off OK.

Great backing for Gala from the South Stand and the Gala fans in our ends were respectful.
There a couple behind me. I could tell but they were absolutely fine and just watched the match. As stated before our conduct in Istanbul may well have got is done friends in Turkey.

Looks like our supporters club will be getting the 22 they asked for. Honestly haven’t heard of half the members asking for tickets. I know they haven’t been to the Etihad in years or ever!
I didn’t apply this time through them as I wasn’t able to go but plans have changed and I got my own today. Seems to be plenty left for members tomorrow!

Great to have a bit of context. There was very little trouble and that's the case with most of our European games home or away. We have had the most trouble when we played Liverpool and Celtic in the CL and that tells its own story. Liverpool fans attract trouble whereever they go and we see very little on our travels. I wonder why? Contrast our trip to Roma with one of the scousers' frequent violent trips.

Do you think season ticket holders will get to buy extra ticket?,whats the chances of any being left?

I was taken aback by the scale of the police operation against Roma. Back in the centre of Rome after the game, a bar owner told me the Mafia wouldn't allow Roma hooligans into the centre after games so as not to disrupt their income generation.

City, by and large, did a good security operation for the Gala game. I am not sure why they don't put up a net to separate the away end.

Good security is often about deterrent. Ticket restrictions reduced the chances of, for example, Leeds looking for a straightener with Gala. It's not always about aggression from away fans. The killing of two Leeds fans hasn't been forgotten in Yorkshire.

We could have done more to support each others security on the night by turning up and filling all our general admission seats. That's what I wanted Blues to do. It didn't happen but the security operation was good enough and Gala fans were respectful.

Gone to bed early but struggling to sleep in anticipation of tomorrow’s big day
I’m going to pin that tweet where the Arsenal fan confidently predicted that City will return at least 5000 tickets on my office wall in the morning. That will be all the motivation I need to stay focussed all day.

Sleep well fellow counters. We need to be a team tomorrow.
