Most people (like families) want seats together.
City need to justfy the "sale" I'd say on the basis they are only selling cheap solo seats. Keep ST holders happy, or people who already bought at £53..
No matter, someone in the ticket office has realised we're fighting for the title and need a full house shouting the team on. Fair play. They'll fill those gaps at £20 each

Agreed. But I suspect they've crunched the numbers and the purchasers of single £53 is possibly very low on a Wednesday night.

Also it's not as unfair as it might seem, if you bought in CB3 adult and 2 kids it'd cost £88 with the £5 discounts and you'd be sitting together.
The fact they are now shifting singles for £20 isn't a huge issue for those purchasers.

I think that’s the full 7000 allocation. Biggest away allocation we’ve had since spurs I think.

So for the league cup game we were allocated 4,893 and that was a total of 9 blocks.

So these additional 2 blocks definitely take us above the initial allocation, although I'm not sure it gets us anywhere near 7,000. My guess is it'd be closer to 6,000 all together.

Differential pricing depending on when you purchase something is the norm these days. Certainly applies to flights and holidays. I have bought my season ticket in advance but could not care less what the club does for last minute sales. My experience will be better if the ground is full. I used to get cheap tickets when I was unemployed in the late 70s. It's all swings and roundabouts.

To me, the Club needs to rebuild bridges with the fans.
An extra 2,000 fans would help make it a great occasion.
Any fans who attended when City won the League there in 1967, should get free travel...
