Seat Counters 25/26

I was talking to a young lad at work today.
He's a Bolton fan.
He said he went to a champions League game to watch city.
He said so matter of fact.
Yeah I got a ticket cos you don't sell out .
I wanted to react .
But he was right.
For what ever reason .
And we all know why we don't sell out.
I watched to Blackburn game last week.
And our fans then were amazing.
When we pulled in to park on the coach that day was like Wembley blues everywhere.
I used to think we had the vast fans in the country.
I remember going away to forest just before the spurs quarter final.
My mate is a forest fan.
He said when we were bouncing and singing he could feel the Trent end vibrating.
He said they didn't have fans like that.

What the fuck has happened.

I remember going to pre season at Stockport.
And Oldham the amount of blues was amazing.
Now we have Bolton fans laughing at us..

Can I add I'm part of the problem I don't go anymore.
I'm just watching the Birmingham game pitch invasion before we played Blackburn.
I'm the fat bald fucker in the striped jumper doing a backwards roll.

City at that time was my life.
It was literally everything to me.
Now....
I have to force myself to watch on TV .

On our mini bus the older lads used to sing.
You are my angle .
You are my dove.
You are man city.
Your the one I love .

I love city .
But they don't love me anymore .

Newcastle sold out

what do we think the final figure sold was, i have done some important research on SJP and level 7 holds 14000 across 19 blocks, we have sold 8 blocks but some of the blocks in the corner are bigger. The selling process has been poor from our perspective with newcastle only letting us have the tickets on wednesday and done and dusted by saturday night, if we have returned some then we have denied a decent number of blues the chance to go as we would have sold a few hundred in the week leading up to the game, it's another seat count in the bag, one we will all learn from

Would’ve thought we would have had them on sale for a few more days yet.

Yep, pretty poor show if we’ve sent the rest back already. A few hundred sold yesterday so they could’ve easily put the next block on sale and we would’ve sold that out over the next few days.

About 4,400ish sold.

I'm holding out hope that they'll release the next block when they're back in the office tomorrow, and the only reason it's showing sold out is because there's no one there to put the block on sale.

If they have actually given all the rest back then that's poor.

If City don't have anyone to log in and press a button at the weekend then that's poor.

I’d imagine we had until a week before the game and had to return any unsold.

Presumably Newcastle gave City a choice

1/ Just the original allocation
2/ Full allocation but City have to pay for any unsold tickets

That might explain why City are now announcing a sellout
Yep, basically the same as what happened in the carabou cup. Begs the question as to why city didn’t make them more available from the start.
