You're actually backing up my point. I'm pointing out that some of our fans still don't recognise the global prestige of the Champions League. But you are talking about fans perspective of the competition and how that translates to ticket sales, do you believe that night eclipses any other for match going fans??
Nor mine, cheated out of it too many times, 4peat/100 points, never be equalled. In who's opinion is that our historical highlight? certainly not mine
I was on the pitch for the Aguero moment, I watched the Champions League/Treble in my dad’s house. It’s still the Champions League, despite the fact I enjoyed the first one more personally.I don't think winning the champions league eclipses the Aguero moment , no .
Is that cheap? I don't see that as cheap. Not when a season ticket in the same location of the stadium works out at less per game than thatcan't even blame prices when there's £42.50 tickets available
I doubt my 5 days in Istanbul and seeing us lift the CL trophy will ever be bettered for me, just a brilliant trip.I was on the pitch for the Aguero moment, I watched the Champions League/Treble in my dad’s house. individual tickets have to be more than season tickets, otherwise theres no pointIs that cheap? I don't see that as cheap. Not when a season ticket in the same location of the stadium works out at less per game than that
and annoy everyone who paid more!Club should do £25 tickets if not sold out by the end of the week. Fill the place and get it rocking
Not when it's a cup games they don't.individual tickets have to be more than season tickets, otherwise theres no point
£15 for kids....Is that cheap? I don't see that as cheap. Not when a season ticket in the same location of the stadium works out at less per game than that

I hate the competition, absolutely hate it but I understand it's importance in football and how it's perceived globally.Hate to say it but large swathes of our own fans aren't bothering with these games. That's why. I've seen people on here still calling it the "Chumps League" even though it provided the highlight of the club's entire history.
So £42.50 for adults & £15 for kids? If that was perceived as "cheap" then tickets would be flying out.£15 for kids....
But that's not the fault of the competition. That's because our own fans can't be arsed to go.I hate the competition, absolutely hate it but I understand it's importance in football and how it's perceived globally.
The final straw for me was the Galatasary game when me & my lad were made to feel like away fans sat in the family stand.
I think £57 for a Dad and Lad to watch City v Real Madrid is very good valueSo £42.50 for adults & £15 for kids? If that was perceived as "cheap" then tickets would be flying out.
No, it's not. It's the fault of the club for allowing it to happen. Repeatedly. But that's not the fault of the competition. That's because our own fans can't be arsed to go.
And that's why ticket sales are through the roofI think £57 for a Dad and Lad to watch City v Real Madrid is very good value
If the club get even more stringent with the sales criteria sales will drop even more. And that's the only way to stop away fans. You could argue that it's chicken and egg but I don't believe it is. I believe a lot of our regulars have never gone to all but the biggest Champions League games. No, it's not. It's the fault of the club for allowing it to happen. Repeatedly.
Where it is the competition's fault is the unnecessary expansion of the competition to try and squeeze as much money from it as possible. There used to be a break between November & February and now it's played all year, I'm sick to death of it to be honest.
