Yes that was tounge in cheek mate. That was the centurions, arguably our best ever team, certainly top 3.
We are miles away from being that good.
For “ever so slightly” read “fucking far better”

Our seats are always fullSo you only turn up when we are playing well or winning?
Seems unlikely but we could always come back and win
If you knew my history you wouldn't be writing that.glory hunter
Fair play mate, but genuine question, how do you manage to “give them away”? I thought the restrictions now meant you couldn’t do that, short of lending someone your phone for the afternoon? Our seats are always full
Give them away if one of us cant attend which doesn't happen often.
I didn’t leave early in 1999 Wembley play off.
Season tickets holders long before Alan Ball almost killed us.
Don't understand where you think were glory hunters.
Still the best atmosphere I've heard at the Etihad that game.Remember the Hamburg game (17 years ago!!!)
Atmosphere needs to be like that although I imagine many of those there that night no longer go much
100% agree,it was brilliant from first whistle to the last....away leg was quality too...Still the best atmosphere I've heard at the Etihad that game.
F acial Recognition says hiWe have 3 season tickets
To get round this problem i have both mine and my adult sons tickets on my phone. So I can swipe anybody in with me.
You can’t give them away. I have had to miss a few cup matches late on because of poor health. I’m on all cup schemes but can only transfer to friends and family who are also members. This is not always possible because most of them attend the big games anyway. The club will not take the ticket back and don’t trust me to give it to a worthy cause. I would give my ticket away for free to help a genuine fan. The ticket exchange works well for league games.Fair play mate, but genuine question, how do you manage to “give them away”? Hammer the Hammers tomorrow night and I reckon they all go.1655 left. Reckon a few hundred will shift today
It's hundreds rather than thousands unfortunately. Just the odd single dotted aboutJust posted this in the League Cup Final thread:
Looks like we've received some extra tickets as there's a queue in place and this from the ticket information page for the final:
"A limited number of tickets are now on sale in line with the sales criteria on Thursday 19 February, 1pm. You can read the full sales criteria below."
We don't operate facial recognition at the turnstiles. if we did I would have had the 3 season tickets on my phone removed along time ago by the club as multiple people use themF acial Recognition says hi
