I think if Leeds were to play on the Saturday, it would make more sense for their league game to have been moved to the 21st as both them and Bournemouth play on Saturday 18th.

We play the previous Sunday against Arsenal, so Wednesday makes sense.

This is my take. Southampton play the Tuesday after the semi against Ipswich. BBC supposedly have first pick and will surely want the Leeds v Chelsea game so they bang on about the 1970 semi and show repeated highlights. TNT slot is the Saturday. Surely we will then play Saturday as although Villa play at Fulham, Everton at West Ham, Newcastle at Arsenal, Derby at QPR then surely the Met can cope. But the time will be the issue. Arse kick off at 5.30Fulham at 12.30, the other three games at 3.00. I am guessing that because of the 3.00 blackout and all Championship games starting at either 12.30 or 3.00 then the game won't ko until 5.15 at the earliest.

my guess is Chelsea v Leeds has far more risk attached to it, so the Police would prefer they play Sunday and us Saturday.....manpower more stretched on a Saturday.

This is true.
My boy (13yrs) has lost count now alrrady how many times we have been.
I agree with many mate that neutral venues would be amazing but my take is this. We literally have no idea when it will be our last time, through health, through relegation(115 .:-) etc so make hay I say. When I am long gone what a ride we have been on pal and my kids will have memories that the majority of football fans will NEVER have or experience. So for anyone unsure about going or not, if you can and you want to dont put it off. My grandad a wise old man said to me 'dont ever put off doing what you can today for another day as it may never happen'.

Yes its shit trapsing to wembley for a semi we all know that, but I will be there as per normal.
