Seat Counters 25/26

Not a Seat counter by trade, but was wondering how can anyone be sure of the total number of blocks/seats that were never released and the total re-allocated to Soton ? Without that info how can we calculate the % of the original allocation (33,500) actually bought by blues.
Or is that the whole point of the Seat Counters ? ie they don't share their methods, hush, hush. My wild arse guess was 30K blues would go, which now seems way too optimistic...
If you follow the sales from the start you can see what blocks were released for sale. Those that have always been greyed out are the ones that were never released. You can work out the capacity of the blocks by looking at the equivalent block on another side.

If you know the allocation you can subtract the tickets left and tickets held back to get at the sales.

Figuring out how many we've sold is pure estimation work at this point with the amount of blocks that have gone back on sale at different points.

Theres 4,400 showing and roughly 4,000 in blocks yet to go on sale. We also saw 1,000 seats in level 1 get mysteriously removed yesterday.

Based on this I've got it about 24,000 sold, however there could be 25,000 blues there if those 1,000 seats have been given away.
I think there’s usually about a 1,000 Blues who get tickets (often in Club Wembley) for semi finals and final through business and charity contacts. That will be on top of City’s official figures.

If City have given away up to a 1,000 tickets to good causes, good for them.

With tickets soon to be taken off sale, it looks like EastMidlandsBlue was pretty much bang on.

Good work mate. Counting the counters. Looks like EMB is seat counter of the year and I’d say well deserved for sheer consistency.
