Seat Counters 25/26

If you qualify on Tuesday morning you should be able to get a 50 pound ticket.
There wont be many more ticket sales today and tomorrow as their in no change in criteria and most qualifying season ticket holders will have already purchased their tickets.
Tbf hadn’t realised there wasn’t a different criteria opening tomorrow

So people in supporter clubs without the required points for tickets, have always had first dibs on tickets?
Not quite when the supporters club was formed there were no such thing as loyalty points it was mainly for social activities bring City fans together getting them to home and away games the majority of which were pay at the gate, the games when it was all ticket saved individually going to Maine Road ticket office. It kept up support home and away when we were shite the trip with other blues was far better than the games usually. God bless Alan Potters pisshead tours had some great times great trips.

If that’s one of the reasons, why not do away with the points system? Getting dibs on tickets over blues who have put in the yards shouldn’t come into the equation.
I go off my own points and don’t worry about missing out on Anfield and Old Trafford. Here’s a few wider examples:
£50k raised and distributed to good causes in the Manchester.
Picking up a family whose car had broken down at Wembley. We did t know them but got them home.
Helping with humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine.

I don’t know if you know of my track record but I’ve helped countless fans on here get tickets at or below face value. Most of them wouldn’t be in the OSC. Here’s one example. Two lifelong Blues, GDM and his mate couldn’t get tickets for the title decoder vs Arsenal a few years ago. I tracked down a guy on the South Coast who had won two tickets through City competition and he wasn’t going to the game. Hit was a helpful contact in a South Coast OSC Branch who put me in touch.i secured the true tickets for non OSC for £30 donations to charity.

What’s your track record of helping fellow Blues.

I seem to recall your involvement in the Supporters Club hate thread that had to be banned. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

That’s all great, but why does that mean blues who haven’t been to any or many games this season have got a ticket / better priced ticket than blues doing the yards?

To do that every ticket would need to be checked at the gate with photo ID, football fans alway find a way in, big games at least.
I don’t want to do away with the points system. I do, however, feel there needs to be more control on OSC allocation, particularly for finals.

Everyone in cup scheme who wants to go will get one, how many in the corporate allocation will have done the hard yards, how many using a mates ticket will have done the hard yards, those who get them via OSC you can be pretty certain are blues, yet only the OSC get it in the neck on here.

What about blues on the cup scheme waiting for mates to qualify in their own window before being able to buy together? Yet OSC can sidestep this?

Exactly this. I am way down the pecking order but in the short time I've been following city this has come up every year and it is affecting supporters who attend a lot of games (much more than me). It's causing a lot of bad will. The issue needs addressing. Making excuses because they may do other good work will not make it go away. Well done to the supporters trust for drafting the letter.

That’s the thing- anyone can join and therefore anyone could’ve circumvented the points system and got first dibs for this final
Yes same first dibs that those who have paid extra for a season ticket & bought points to gain advantage
