Everyone should just join their local supporters club sounds like the only way to get first dibs on tickets these days
Does this mean that someone joining a supporters club and getting a ticket who doesn't even go to matches could be passing these tickets on at inflated prices to any tom dick or harry?

And Supporters Clubs don’t want new members who are just interested in tickets. That’s why many run events with guest speakers, hold charity events and trophy visits etc
Tim, you come across as a very honest and genuine guy who runs his supporters club with the best intentions. But there is clearly a specific issue with cup finals tickets that is negatively impacting a lot of other genuine blues. The "if you can't beat em, join em" approach doesn't strike me as a good solution.

I have no beef with supporters clubs myself, just feel some take the mick with finals. That's why I feel the supporters trust call for transparency is a positive move.

Good post Etihad. I could take or leave the Supporters Club ticket priority. It’s helpful when you have a local away like in our case Leeds but the system has been too favourable for this Cup Final IMHO.

I’ve said many times on here in the run up to big games that being in an OSC Branch is just a bit a better than not being in one. Some of the perks are exaggerated and difficult to define. For example, this season one member designed / gave us all a slate beer mat with the City logo engraved on it. Sometimes if you live in an areas where there’s a shortage of electricians or plumbers etc you find one in the OSC.

The majority of members never ask for an away ticket. Tickets are a bigger issue on here than in many Branches.

Yes same first dibs that those who have paid extra for a season ticket & bought points to gain advantage
What a complete and utter crock of shit.
One is a season ticket holder who has paid up front for a season.
And you think they should not have priority over someone who has joined a supporters club to gain access to tickets and may have been to 1 or 2 matches a season and can buy a ticket before someone who has a season ticket and is on the cup scheme.

You and lots of others on here constantly gripe about supporter clubs making up shite , people join OSCs to meet up with & travel with other blues all this nonsense they only join to get tickets and don't have memberships or season tickets . Contact the club if your unhappy or join an OSC + read the clubs ticket policy where loyalty by joing an OSC is rewarded
You are speaking to someone who is involved with one of the biggest supporters club in the South of Manchester.
I know all about the good work they do with travel and the social side, but in this scenario the club and the supporters clubs have got it wrong in how they have allocated tickets for the final to this group of people.
If you think it's ok,then we will have to agree to disagree.
You do seem to be in the minority on this occasion.

Here’s an example of how acquiring tickets by hook or by crook can get backs up.
My mate, a Rag who goes to matches occasionally, has just posted a video whilst sat with the Liverpool fans at the Swamp?!
Sitting with the away fans whilst following the home team, really does take the piss.

There is an amnesty scheme where anyone with below, say, 2k City Clubcard points getting an away ticket to Old Trafford through an OSC can donate it to some Droylsden Dave who just missed the cut off and doesn’t know anyone or any way of getting tickets through other means. Go in your ticket account and click on the Boiled Piss tab, the option is there.

I have been in a smaller SC 3 seasons and have never managed to get an away ticket for games I knew I couldn't get with points. Will I get one for Bournemouth?
