Seat Counters 25/26

I would've thought so too, it seems strangly large. Maybe seat counting is becoming quite a popular hobby!

Saying that I've just remembered this window includes Matchday Members on the FA Cup Scheme.
I wou;d have thought there were loads of season ticket holders in this bracket. I'd say over half of the regulars around me don't turn up for run of the mill cup games and that would fit with the figure I was given of 17K on the cup scheme.

Mind you, that will be slightly offset by people who aren't going buying for others. I suspect that a high percentage of tickets are passed on in that way.

Queue is now 5254. Has anyone worked out what kind of queue to sales ratio the alogithm is currently giving? If it's the old 1 in 3 or 4 then there should still be plenty left after this window

As a non seat counter of any repute, can you explain to a numbskill how if 5000 are in the queue only 1250 tickets might sell.

Seems to have been a large influx of people logging on but not buying, Current que number is 5455 , but only 1574 ahead of me, but conversley there hasnt been 4000 sales in the last 16 mins

No, the numbers have been much more representative this time. For 1pm there were 2,000 in the queue and 1,500 sold. In theory, this means we could be selling out this window

It's one of the last mysteries of Seat Counting.

The numbers in the queue don't correspond in any way to the sales that follow. We even researched/monitored this during the Carabou Cup final and were finding tahat a queue of 10,000 might results in 2 or 3 thousand sales.

My guess is that it's soem kind of algorithm to ensure that people panic buy but I don't know that. There will be people using multiple devices to try to get to the front of the queue quickest, or maybe mates all trying at once but only one buys, but that's also offset by people buying mulitple tickets.

So yes, about 1K sold so far this window but some are still queing I think. Probably increases hope significantly for members. I'm revising my prediction and think that some will be left for members tomrrow .

Theres 3 windows tomorrow non cup scheme season ticket holders on 12,000 , 5000 and then any points, you think just over 4k will cover all those and then go to members?

Thanks for this useful info, Bluemc. I qualify at 10.00a.m. tomorrow and although it's looking a bit "touch and go", I remain hopeful! Definitely worth £125 (even though it's a rip-off) to watch the Blues secure a Domestic Cup Double.

Earlier on today I didn't think they would but as there don't seem to have been masses sold in this window then i think there's a decent chance that some will be left for members, although it might just be the most expensive ones. I'm still expecting FA returns too.

Not touch and go. There will be plenty left. There's no new window opening until then and most sales take place in the first hour of the window opening. Get in the queue at 9.45am and you'll have no problem.

Without doubt it will go to members .
