This happens for most cup finals, there’s an initial announced allocation but it always increases and then you’ve got City fans buying directly off the FA.Also BBC says the same

RagDo we need to talk about the empty seats at Wembley? In mean WTF is going on? Put the sold out signs up without even opening it to members who hadn't attended an FA Cup home match. We have a club which is run as a world class outfit from top to tail. Will we ever get a ticket office to match? Now we all have to suffer the "small club can't sell all their tickets" jibes because of their **** up. And I'm sat watching on the telly when I could've been there.

Take off the loyalty points scheme and the supporters clubs allocation and you are left with the sold out signs.Take off staff and players families, plus ALL sponsorship allocations. You are talking between 2 to 3k tickets less.

It is difficult to be banned from the seat counter thread, a liberal set, but you need to be careful. Admitting you are BBC does not help.

First off, I had a season ticket from 1999-2013. Now I've moved away I go to about 5 or 6 matches a season. This year I'll have been to 6 home matches and 3 away. One of those away matches was in the FA Cup. I haven't been to any home cup matches so I didn't qualify for tickets.You could have been there.

Loads of empty seats in our end and Chelsea's, awful when both clubs had people desperate to go.

I don't think the club are responsible to be honest. Noticeable empties in the Chelsea end as well. Sometimes people leave seats and go stand with friends. Also for any given event, say even 1% didn't make it on the day, illness, transport, events, that'd be another 850 empties, on top of that corporate allocations where the seats are bought and clients are invited who don't show. I really don't see why you can blame the City ticket office when they sold our allocation.

Those seats and the one's in the Chelsea end were tickets that belonged to the FA and were never on offer to the clubs.
And you have been told that by countless posters in this thread but you appear to ignore posts that don't agree with yours.
Take it up with the FALoads of empty seats in our end and Chelsea's, awful when both clubs had people desperate to go.
