Very very simple.

I’d have charged £30 for adults, for a one off game in the new North Stand (especially as the season ticket holders aren’t in there yet).

And I’ve have opened it up to all members earlier this week.

Now what is your response?

Then there’s still thousands of fans that have been overcharged, and more that have been priced out of attending, which will affect them attending future games.

I think there is thousands of people in Greater Manchester that just can’t afford to go anymore and they’re priced out of the habit. The sort of people that would have picked up the 2,000-3,000 available tickets vs Palace, or maybe have gone to the semi final vs Newcastle that was half empty, if the pricing was done right generally.

It’s not just selling out one game, it’s about making it affordable in the medium to long term so non-season ticket holders can and will part with their money 5/6/7 times a season.

Those in the poorer parts of our metropolitan county won’t be able to afford £100+ to take their families multiple times a season, and then we have to look at empty seats.

It’s already a disgrace this has happened during the tenure of our greatest ever manager.

Couldnt agree more with your first paragraph.

I think its called marketing and City seem to be fcuking clueless on the ticketing side.

Knowing tickets are available is a completely different thing entirely. A lot of people just presume tickets are sold out etc.

This is a one off game though pal. I get what you're saying but City have frozen ticket prices, stopped the nonsense membership transfer rules from this season and will price midweek games more favourably next season too. They're aware of the issues.

People will have already paid a lot for the Villa game, when it was first released or a few weeks back when it looked like a potential title decider. It wouldn't have been fair to sell it on the cheap.

It's going to sell out now Pep's confirmed he's leaving and whilst lots of loyal local blues might not afford it this time around, next season there will be more opportunities for them. They can get transfers off their mates without needing a paid membership. They can buy for midweek games at a cheaper price.

This game has to be viewed in isolation, it will sell out and next season let's hope the new pricing and rules improve things. It's another 7,000 seats, 4,000 new season tickets issued. Take away the hospitality and it's 3,400 or whatever matchday tickets available.

I’m not really arsed at rival fans taking the piss, I laughed at the Geordies making a big deal about it when we were pumping them out of the cup.

This one has really pissed me off because Pep deserves 61,000 sending him off. If, as rumours suggest, there will be a renaming of the North Stand to the Pep Guardiola Stand, then the fact it’s not sold out is shocking.

That isn’t the fault of fans, it’ll be the clubs for having advanced restrictions in place for most of the week, and also for charging about £25 too much per ticket.
