I just got a text message from the club saying buy tickets for Pep's last game

It is almost impossible to find the 2026-27 season ticket prices on mancity.com.

City are poor at selling tickets. The Pep Guardiola Stand is opening, and they should have information about how you can buy season tickets in it for next season. The season ticket prices are good and they should market them, otherwise it will be a fortnightly struggle to sell out the stand next season.

I'd call it dynamic pricing, rather than differential pricing, and for me it's a no no for sporting events and concerts. That said, the safe standing seats in the new stand could've been priced lower

I don’t mean the sort of ruthless pricing tactics at some gigs. But prices always go up and down depending when you purchase. It’s not a problem as long as the top price isn’t absurd… like it was for Oasis.

Dodging the algorithm is now just part of seat counting.

Communication is important in selling tickets. As soon as the Pep story was everywhere, and the Pep stand, the tickets started to fly off the shelf. At least City thought to put ticketing links into the Pep Guardiola stand article.

I would put a leaflet on every seat this Sunday about the season ticket prices.
