I’m assuming the sky bar seats were not on sale for the Villa game, so the attendance figure will be less than capacity?
Correct still sky bar and the hotel suitesI’m assuming the sky bar seats were not on sale for the Villa game, so the attendance figure will be less than capacity?
It might depend on what division we are playing.IOnce everything is open are we looking at 60k for next season ?
As an 8 year old I was at FA Cup reply against Newcastle there was a shitload there that night, never saw owt of the game.Anyone know when was the last time we had a bigger home attendance than we’ll have on Sunday?
I was at this game with my grandad (who used to take me to games and got me properly into following City). As an 8 year old I was at FA Cup reply against Newcastle there was a shitload there that night, never saw owt of the game.
We sold over 7000 in a few days, but yes cheaper tickets next yearI'm relieved that this has sold out, it would have been a disgrace if we hadn't for not only peps last game, but the grand opening of the new stand.
The club need to take this as a warning now. Tickets for games like this should be absolute gold dust, yet we've lumbered over the finish line. Time to rebuild our local fanbase.
Just looked it up official attendance was 60844 think you could add quite a few to that number :-)I was at this game with my grandad (who used to take me to games and got me properly into following City).

If we're being pedantic, we've sold 3,500 in the last few days, as the original 3,500 was sold a few weeks ago.We sold over 7000 in a few days, but yes cheaper tickets next year

It's not games like this that worry me, of course the big games will sell out. I get worried about Tuesday night fixtures in the middle of February against Brentford.
These last few days haven't filled me with any hope that we'll be selling out games like that.
Thought these extra 3.500 tickets only went on sale at 3pm yesterday (Thursday)If we're being pedantic, we've sold 3,500 in the last few days, as the original 3,500 was sold a few weeks ago.

That’s exactly the problem with reducing everything to current revenue figures, it’s an extremely short-term way of looking at growth. Not SELLING OUT is a stick to beat City with
invented by the Red Cartel.
The important thing is growth, both as a fanbase but also reflected in revenue.
Yes 3,500 sold in just over a day, NOT 7,000 like the original poster implied.Thought these extra 3.500 tickets only went on sale at 3pm yesterday (Thursday)
So they've basically sold out in just over a day.
Although being Peps last game has probably helped with sales, its not too shabby.
its all about pricing. Make it affordable and we’ll fill the stand/ stadium most weeksIf we're being pedantic, we've sold 3,500 in the last few days, as the original 3,500 was sold a few weeks ago.
