Seats Being Removed

can anyone clarify whats going on, are they taking a row off each side from each block in east lower? their have been a few shifted on here but they seem all spread about in different blocks 'not concentrated together' or is that the way the club is notifying people in some sort of order alphabetical or on the points system, maybe their will be another batch of fans getting the letter this week
just to add this must be affecting quite a few for every one on here who has had the letter there must be another 10 that dont come on bluemoon and complain

We know there won't be anymore letters going out as the seat relocation window opens to all June 3rd. Those affected so far have a 24 hour head start. In my opinion, after double silverware, Monday morning will offer them slim pickings as renewals will be high. Saying that, a 10% increase may have put some off...

I turned up to the seat relocation last year at the ground and before they opened they had a sign up stating no availability in level two and limited in level one. I hope people will get a good spot and are happy with where you end up. Good Luck.

I sat on the front row for the first and last time last season and can't for the life of me see why people might like sitting there. All you see is a mass jumble of legs with a ball pinging about in between, and all the while getting battered by the famous Manchester rain and sleet. The mind boggles how they are going to put another three rows lower down towards the pitch, you'd have to have a neck like a Giraffe to see anything!

Ha ha, that would have been handy!

I know it rains in Manc. - but will the new Submarine be in City livery - like the Etihad plane.

I have been informed that I have to relocate due to my seat being g no longer available.
I have also had my log in for the club website deactivated which they didn't inform me, so even to check availability
For a new seat is impossible, I can't speak to those dummies on the phone they are so clueless.
My first season ticket was on the wooden benches in the platt lane and this is how the club are treating us loyal fans, guess they don't need us so much these days, they want the out of Towner's to spenddd in the club shop and so on.
Well I have had enough, always said the day we turn into those red bastards ...........

You SC holders that have to relocate will now know how we felt when we were kicked out of the North Stand. Amazingly there was little, if any, sympathy. Just the attitude, great, I don't have to move. Not surprisingly that is the feeling I have now. You are lucky, you probably will be able to stay in the same stand.

sadly proves the old adage that revenge is a dish best served cold

I've never found a feature in the account area that lets you view seats to relocate to anyway, if you're an existing ST holder, so logging in might not help much.

Two years ago I spent a while on the phone with a very grumpy person trying to relocate. The guy made it seem like he was doing me a favour and was almost rushing me to choose a seat. It put me off relocating again, which I won't do unless a new singing/atmosphere area is created (or if I'm forced... which having an aisle seat in 107 I've been worried about, but no letters yet). But phoning or going in person is the only way to relocate I think.

Now we know availability....

The window to relocate your Seasoncard seat opens at 9am, Monday 2 June 2014.
All Superbia, Platinum and Gold Seasoncard holders whose usual Seasoncard seat is not available for the 2014/15 Season, have an exclusive window to relocate from 9am until 5:30pm on Monday 2 June, and again from 9am until 5:30pm on Friday 6 June.
Supporters who have already renewed for next season, but would like to explore the option of relocating to a different seat elsewhere in the stadium, will have the chance to do so from 9am Tuesday 3 June, until 5:30pm Thursday 5 June. Impacted supporters can renew on all others days, but access will not be exclusive outside of the two dates above.

Supporters are advised to park in the Blue Car Park off Alan Turing Way, for the duration of the relocation window. Disabled supporters will be able to show their Blue Badge at Gate 11 on Ashton New Road and will be allowed on-site access.

Please note: Some areas of the Etihad Stadium are already sold out, while others have extremely limited capacity.

Sold out areas are;

Colin Bell Stand Level 2
East Stand Level 2
Limited availability exists in;

Colin Bell Stand Level 1
East Stand Level 1
Family Stand Level 2
South Stand Level 2
Reasonable availability exists in all other areas of the Etihad Stadium.

Supporters looking to relocate are asked to visit the Stadium Ticket Office, located in behind the stage in BT City Square, or call the Supporter Services team on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3).

Supporters who have yet to renew their 2013/14 Seasoncard for the 2014/15 season can still do so in line with the above availability, by phone on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 1 - 24 hour, booking fee applies) or in person at the Stadium Ticket Office, however we can no longer guarantee that your 2013/14 Seasoncard seat will be available.

Heard today about a six year old who got a letter to relocate , end of row but his mum sat next to him can stay , letter signed by Danny Wilson , the reason is to widen the aisle due to health & safety coz of extra seats being put in at front

I always slated Bernard Halford for the shambles/corruption of the ticket office of old.
But reading these posts it seems we have learned nothing.
We may as well sign the whole lot over to Ticketmaster and have done with it.
Then at lease we know we are being ignored/ripped off by Twats, not our own Club.

so then the big question is why have selected seats in the east stand lower blocks been chosen by the club not to let the customer renew all by the way end aisle seats 'but not all aisle seats' if it were all aisle seats we could have said they were making the aisle wider but this cant be the case, are they to become match day sales for people with disabilities, has the club not said 'why' they cant renew their seat, just a thought is it possible these seats have been allocated to showsec stewards
